Dr. Anyanwu is a very compassionate and intelligent doctor. He took care of my mother when she had a brain bleed. My family and I were very impressed by the quality of care that was provided to our mother during her stay in the hospital. His team work with the nurses and other staff was phenomenal. Dr. Anyanwu’s expertise and time spent sharing information about the nature of stroke our mother suffered, helped us come to peace when it was time for us to say goodbye to our mother who lived to 91

Dr Anyanwu was visiting Akron City Hospital in Akron Ohio and it was a blessing from God that he was in our area to have received his care for my wife. My wife came to the hospital as result of a stroke. He took the time to not only show us on the MRI but to explain what had happen and what we should do moving forward. The level of care that Dr Anyanwu gave us was above and beyond and I would highly recommend this doctor. The people of Salem NC are very fortunate to have this man in their area.

I was referred to Dr. Anyanwu through a friend from Ghana a few years ago when I had a stroke. He took care of me while he was at Forsyth Hospital. I have been trying to reach him then to tell him what an incredible doctor he is. I just saw online that he moved to Ohio Dr. Anyanwu is instrumental to my survival today. I had a horrible stroke and thought I was going to die. Today I am a living testimony of the superior medical skills of this doctor in Stroke care. I am healthy and back to work!

I was referred to Dr. Anyanwu for a second opinion, while at Summa Hospital for a Myasthenia Gravis flare 10/17/17. Dr. Anyanwu was working with 3 medical students. He was incredibly through with educating them on my autoimmune disease, as . One of the most impactful moments for me wa when he told the student drs was that the MG patients know their bodies, and it is important to listen to them. They know the difference between tired and a flare. He is a great educator and physician!

Very poor bedside manner, especially given that he is dealing with life and death situations. As just one example, he brought a roomful of strangers in to my mother's hospital room while she lay dying, did not bother to even tell me who they were, and then went about cavalierly discussing her medical condition with all of them with no regard or respect to me sitting there. My mother died but if she had not, I would have refused to have him provide care, even if it meant transferring hospitals.
