Dr. Benedicto Galindo, MD

The most frustrating doctor I have ever worked with. Egotistic in that he finds offense in you self diagnosing - you kind of have to tip toe around him to give you a referral for a specialist. Even if you know for sure you have a certain ailment you have to pretend you don't know so that he can make the proper referrals for you; otherwise he will remind you who is the doctor. He also seems to think he is above insurance and compliance regulations. I asked him for an Rx for a sleep study as per a DME. He writes a script saying specifically and underlined "no sleep study needed." Two days later the DME denies the script and tells me that I need a sleep study done. He calls me back to his office and writes a new Rx with the same exact order. I am now left to do the work of a sleep specialist to look for a DME that will accept an Rx that underlines: "no sleep study needed." Unless you need quick doctors notes, avoid this doctor completely. I gave him 2 stars for being fast.

This is the second time he forgot my husband’s medicine. He said to put the prescription to the pharmacy. Husband called the pharmacy if his medicine is ready they said doctor or the staff didn’t call. We tried calling the doctor’s office they don’t answer. Checked the pharmacy after two days, still no medicine. Called the doctor’s office still no one is answering.

Dr. Galindo is there for me when I need him. His staff is very helpful.
