Dr. Benedict Pellerito, MD

Dr. Pellerito is by far the BEST doctor anyone could ask for. He NEVER rushes his appointments, he explains everything in detail and overall I think he is the best doctor in any capacity that I have ever dealt with. He has replaced both of my hips, done meniscus surgery on me, done shoulder surgery on my husband, given me cortisone shots so that I was able to walk, and now I am facing knee surgery by him. I cannot stress enough how much I love this doctor and would recommend and have, to everyone...

He came highly recommended by my dad who had a knee replacement done by Dr Pellerito. I see why. Wait was a bit long but worth it. He is very nice and easy to talk to. He makes you feel very comfortable and doesn’t make you feel like he’s trying to rush out of the room. I would definitely recommend Dr. Pellerito.

Had surgery by Dr. Pellerito in 2000 for a lateral meniscus bucket handle tear. He did a repair that he claimed fixed it. Reported constant issues after the surgery. My concerns were dismissed as he thought I was a stupid kid and was told outright I had knee surgery, this was my new knee, get used to it. I have had 3 surgeries since his, 2 more meniscus tear cleanups and an Osteotomy. My Dr that did my second surgery told me there was no way the repair had worked because my meniscus was shredded beyond recognition. I am now 39 years old and scheduling my total knee replacement for later this year. Yes I should have gotten a second opinion, but I was young and dumb and thought my Dr knew what he was doing. Dr Pellerito ruined my knee and dismissed my issues. Go elsewhere. Find the best Dr you can for your joints.

He has seen my daughter since she was eight. She plays alot of sports and has had 3 breaks and one from car accident. He has a great bed side manner. Always explained everything in detail to our daughter and to us. He is honest and will tell you if its not broken. It was radiologist fault on that one. He's compassionate, humorous with my daughter who just broke her wrist playing Varsity basketball . He said she needed a bubble wrap suit and maybe chess would be better. I trust him with my daughter and would refer him to anyone. My husband and I ever need something done we would go to him with no doubt.

Terriic!!!! One week ago today Dr Pellerito operated on my left shoulder. My Rotator Cuff was 100% tore along with torn Labrum and Bicep. I start PT today and my shoulder is coming along great. Dr Pellerito was awesome the whole time, explaining things telling me what to expect His staff was great also. 8 years ago I had my torn Labrum repaired in my right shoulder by a different shoulder, wasn't nearly a good experience, he didn't want me to move my shoulder for 2 weeks and the pain was unbearable. I would recommend Dr Pellerito in a heartbeat to anyone that needs surgery.

I HAD GOOD EXPERIANCE THE FIRST DR ON MY KNEE REPLACEMENT BUT RECOVERY WAS VERY LONG . I WENT WITH DR PALLERITO FOR THE SECOND KNEE AND I CANT SAY ENOUGH NO COMPERISION 100 % BETTER HARDLY NO PAIN AND UP AND ABOUT IN ONE WEEK THANKS SO MUCH

Dr Pellerito has been my doctor/surgeon since 1999. I was extremely blessed to have been referred to him. He is honest, to the point, compassionate, he truly cares about his patients, he wants and does what he can to make and keep you healthy and comfortable and as far as I am concerned he is THE BEST Ortho Surgeon I could have ever had. He has done all of my ortho surgeries, Rotator Cuff and eventually both total knee replacements. I pray I don't have anymore ortho issues but if I do he will definitely be the one I go to. He is, like I said, THE BEST!!!

Dr. Pellerito is one of the best doctors that my husband and myself have seen in a long time. He is friendly and takes his time with his patients. He talks to you like a regular person and is very good at explaining everything, he is not one to jump right into surgery and helps you to explore other options first

I was going to another Dr in Rochester, MI and he was going to do surgery on a torn miniscus. I decided to get a second opinion and went to see Dr. Pellerito. The best decision I could of made. He advised me that I not only had a miniscus tear, my knee was totally shot. He operated on me on April 28th, 2017 and I got a total knee replacement on my left knee. I will be having my right knee done in Jan 2018 .. Only by the Best - Dr. Pellerito ... Very caring & personable - Awesome Surgeon too

Amazing Doctor. He replaced my ACL about 6 months ago and I have had absolutely no issues with my knee since. He is very thorough and has patiently explained every aspect of the procedure to me through the entire experience. I would highly recommend him and his staff to anyone needing his expertise.
