Beware
Went to see Dr. Thomas for a lump on stomach and bloating. When I start to show the lump, he immediatley says its abdominal separation. When I said something about bloating I was told I need probiotics. He never once attemped to exam me to see what I was talking about. Just went with what he saw and that was it. Very arrogant and full of himelf. Would not recommend.

Rude Medical Assistant
Dr Thomas must have a huge practice and does not higher enough staff, or he does not care about how his staff talks to his patients. I had put in a request for his medical assistant to call me because I had a concern. Almost 48 hours later, someone from Dr Thomas's office returned the call and left an 8 second message. This girl was not even courtesy enough to leave her name or give me enough time to answer the phone. This is how Dr Thomas' staff treats his patients. If I cannot be treated with respect by Dr Thomas' staff, I will find a Doctor that cares about his clients.

First visit he made a lot of jokes. OK, comradery... On other visits I felt my problems weren't being taken seriously. Multiple tests showed nothing so I wasn't given any hypothesis as to why, often 15 minutes after I eat, I had to be in a restroom for an hour having issues and in pain. Got C-diff and it took a week to get in. Last straw was a trip to the emergency room (at a different network who I loved) bleeding out the backside for 9 hours. Then treated like he didn't want to talk to me.

I recently Dr. Thomas for an endoscopy. I am very impressed by him. Very willing to talk to his patients and has a very nice personality. He did a great job with the endoscopy and was very willing to help me with my digestive problems. One of the best doctors I have dealt with.

I had Gi issues "reflux"before maybe 15yrs ago. So comparing my past experiences. I am unclear this guy knows exactly what he is doing. He kept telling me possible long term options on Prilosec and let's do this or that before we have someone cut on me. I'm following his direction and only getting worse. 10 weeks ago I was normal no issues So I am fresh into this and should be healed not getting worse.

I have seen quite a few gastroenterologist and Dr Thomas is the best. He takes the time to talk with me, listen, and answer questions. He treats me like an individual case without putting me into a box and is knowledgeable about how other medical conditions affect the GI system.
