DR Shenassa took care of my UTI but unlike the other urologist he followed thru with an investigation of why I was having so many UTI's. He discovered that I had cancer of the bladder. Which is now in remission.

Awesome
Dr Shenassa is simply AWESOME. He prepares and reads my medical records. He listens. He examines me thoroughly. He double checks the initial physical exam. He delivers sound medical advice and appropriate prescriptions. He is conversant about my condition. He records so he does not forget. All the while he is humorous, pleasant and most of all approachable. In the end, I leave assured that I am on the right path and thankful that God led me to truly awesome physician.

Dr Shenassa is very nice and good doctor , but waiting time is awful, minimum an hour in a waiting room, then another hour in the room, so by the time you’re done it will be time to go to sleep, this way you will develop another health issue , then you will seek another doctor , and so on..

Great Doctor, terrible staff.
Dr. Shenassa gave me a 30 day sample and a script for Myrbetriq, which has worked well for me, but my insurance denied it due to cost. Typically when this happens, a Doctor will speak with the insurance company and advocate on your behalf until they approve the medication (been through this before). I have contacted his staff multiple times to try and get this resolved, without success. My sample is about to run out. When I call, the line is either busy or no one picks up, and the voicemail boxes are full when trying leave a message. If you do get someone, they don't call you back. I cannot get through to the Doctor. I'm unsure how I'm going to get this medication (that he prescribed) and I really want to stay on it. It's extremely frustrating. At this point, I'm most likely going to find another Urologist, forward my records, and have the new Doctor write me a script. If I can't even get through to Dr. Shenassa, I don't feel confident that my health will improve under his care.

Excellent, Dr. Shenassa is one of the most caring providers I have ever met, and I have met with many providers. He takes the time to communicate with patients and their families, he is at the patient's bed site when needed, regardless of the time of the day. THANK YOU, DR. SHENASSA for taking such good care of my sister. You are one of the best.

For the last 10 plus years, I was constantly plagued by urethral stricture issues. Several urologists has tried to help me by using either the urethrotomy or dilation methods but to no avail. I almost gave up any hope until I found Dr. Shenassa a year ago. He applied an unconventional method to approach the problem after his careful study. Consequently, it has worked well for me and I'm indeed grateful to him. He is a genius and a great urologist. I have no reservations to recommend him.

Office intake smooth. Despite having a hospital emergency to deal with doctor was able to see me with only slight delay (the reason for waiting time). History very complete, exam well done with clear explanation. Very smart guy. First urologist I met who already knew about urachal cyst/syndrome and associated cancer risk. CT scan ordered. VERY IMPORTANT IF YOU LIVE IN LA AREA: easy to find, free parking. Near freeway exits & on-ramps. Across from Target/CVS for prescriptions WOW 5/5 stars !!!

Dr. Shenassa saved my life. After performing a TURP operation on me (which was a very good idea), his office kept on insisting that I come in for a follow up appointment. That checkup, which included a ultrasound scan (which is not usually done) discovered a malignant tumor on my kidney. Short story: Had kidney and tumor removed, no further treatment needed. Very good bedside manner and very good surgeon. I'm in great health.

He's very open minded. He is a g, he gives you the facts as he understands them and conveys them to the patient in simplistic terms. He gives you choices, he lets you know about the risks, as well as the benefits. I'm so impressed by his real interest and kindness. He's a real and genuine person, a real Dr in my book
