Epitome of an excellent surgeon and staff!! My 35 year old son is on the autism spectrum. They took the time to know my son and make him feel at ease, both the front office staff and the surgery team. This is by far the best experience we’ve had with a dentist. Dr. Almerico is an experienced surgeon, professional and skillful in removing impacted, partially erupted and erupted wisdom teeth. I highly recommend him and his team for oral surgery. Dr. Almerico and his team will provide you with a great experience.

Dr. Ben Almerico is no nonsense and an outstanding surgeon. HE was the only oral- maxillofacial surgeon on the North or South shore who called me back at 2:00am after our son had taken a brutal beating in New Orleans by thugs (who were never caught). Both jawbones were shattered and the emergency room that wired his teeth together did everything wrong. And I do mean everything. Ben Almerico met us in his office on a holiday morning and without staff examined him, stabilized the splayed jaw bones and got him into a proper surgery hospital. He repaired the incredible damage to bone and teeth. Titanium implants were used. He was 21 at that time and it is ten years later - no pain, no problems. Every dentist he sees in Houston area now is amazed! Thank you, Dr. Almerico.

Dr. Almerico and his staff are amazing. I was referred to his practice for an impacted wisdom tooth and the removal of another problem tooth. He was AMAZING! After developing a dry socket, he and his staff were helpful, passionate and caring. Making sure I was comfortable and out pain before leaving the office after each subsequent visit for packing the dry socket was their No.1 priority. He also made sure I had supplies at home to keep me comfortable in the event I experienced a flare up at home. I will never see another Oral Surgeon; Dr. Almerico is the BEST!

Dr. Almerico did my wisdom teeth removal surgery and he was excellent! A few hours after I got home from the procedure, Dr. Almerico called me himself to make sure that I was doing alright and that I wasn’t in too much pain. The only complaint I have is that it took the nurses 5 tries to get an IV, but I have difficult veins, so I don’t blame them.

Once the surgery is complete, Dr. Almerico losses interest in his patient as though his job is done and someone, anyone else should deal with the complications. His bedside manner becomes poor. He is not a good listener and relies on his excellent staff to deal with post-op patients. He was slow to address my concerns and re-do my procedure. He left me in the lurch to deal with my post-op issues.

Excellent and caring staff. When our daughter needed to be seen quickly, as she was experiencing some pain, the doctor and staff stayed late for us to bring her in. We could not ask for a better overall experience.

Recently I was out of town and was referred to Dr. Almerico by a local dentist. It was an emergency and Dr. Almerico took me immediately. He thoroughly explained the issues and without delay proceeded to the surgery. He put a drain in and when he found out we would be travelling he offered to come into the office on a Sunday to remove the drain. It was an unpleasant and scary time but he made it as quick and painless as possible. I would recommend him to anyone needing oral surgery.

I was referred to Dr Almerico by a dentist that extracted my tooth which lead to a dry socket. This oral surgeon treated me as though I was there seeking pain meds and told me that I would just have to suffer the pain. It was comparable to a bone fracture in my face. I saw him twice. Thanks to Dr Brandner who used packing to cover the exposed bone ( twice a week) and antibiotics), I never needed pain meds. A veterinarian treated my dog better than this man treated me!!

He could be a good oral surgeon but I will never know because he was so rude and arrogant that I would never go back. He shrugged his shoulders at me several times, spent 1-2 minutes examining me and while attempting to discuss my dental problems, he rudely stood in the doorway motioning for me to pick up my purse, get up and go check out.
