Dr. Bella Shklyarova, MD

Dr. Skhyylarova was the most extraordinary family physician I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She has accurately diagnosed several issues over the past 15 years, often suggesting homeopathic remedies such as physical therapy vs other invasive therapies. She has been sincerely concerned, attentive and insightful to my problems. She has always made me feel welcome, valued as a patient and not rushed. I was saddened to hear she was leaving Park Nicollet.

Usually I don't recommend Dr.Bella Shklyarova, because she cannot gather illness history, does not ask a right questions, gives a poor recommendations. I saw her 2-3 times and stopped. She was really bad to me and after I started to see English-speaking doctors.

Dr. Shklyarova prescribed me 20 mg of Paxil for anxiety. I am 5'2 and 95 lbs. I had every symptom of an overdose aside from a seizure. I projectile vomited 10+ times, severe anxiety, tremors, muscle spasms, I couldn't rest or sit down and my heart was racing for days. I'm not sure what kind of doctor prescribes such a small person 20 mg of Paxil after talking to them for 5 minutes. Not to mention the starting dose is more around 5 mg. Two years later I am still terrified of medication. Thanks.
