He saved my life in the ICU and then, over the months of my recovery, he continued giving me outstanding care. One of the best doctors I have ever had. He listens and takes the time to treat the whole patient. Incredible medical professional - great knowledge combined with a desire for excellence.

Dr. Hashem tries to treat the whole patient, not just the pulmonary issues. He always tries to explain things in simple, easily understandable terms. Quality of life is always considered, and he isn't afraid to explore alternate treatments to achieve a better outcome. My personal favorite doctor.

Three months ago, my gravely ill husband was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at WM Hospital. While attending daily rounding relative to my husband's case, Dr. Hashem's expertise in his field and his commitment to the care and recovery of his patient was undeniable. Dr. Hashem demonstrated an impressive level of skill in medical decision making. He is confident, though not cocky. He is empathetic and kind. His presence in our lives, yielded a phenomenal outcome. Thank you, Dr. B. H.!

Simply the best (and I see a lot of Docs). Extremely intelligent yet personable. Explains things well and always listens. If my life were in danger he is the one doctor I would hope would be there. He REALLY cares.
