He is great but the rest of his staff is terrible
defers most of the work to incompetent optometrists. Rude and nasty office staff. Multiple errors made and high prices - takes months for them to correct their errors. He is a brilliant opthalmologist but unfortunately you pay for his expertise while getting his dreadful assistants and very rude office staff instead. Plus plan to wait a long time past your appointment because they way overbook while taking no insurance and claiming their high prices compensate for superior patient service. Not.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Chaiken?
Dr Chaiken was recommended to me by another doctor who said he was 'the best'. Frankly, that was an understatement. After a number of tests run by his able assistants, he was able to provide a status report on my vision, retinal health, eyelid issues and cataracts (which I don't have yet but are apparently on the horizon). As for the eyelid issues which had prompted the appointment (and which the last 3 eye doctors couldn't remedy), two weeks later I am symptom-free!
