Trust and confidence.
Dr. Berman reacts to my entire health and how it might relateto cancer. He makes certain that I get treatment whether cancer related or not. He is always concerned about possible depression. I have complete confidence in him.

Long wait time, walked out!
I waited 40 min for my appointment and when I went to the desk to ask how much longer, they said at least 1/2 hour more, maybe longer! My time is precious! I got a refund of my co-pay and walked out. If I can be on time for my client app'ts, I expect the same in return! I'll be filing a grievance with my health insurance plan and I'm not going back until I can be assured of no more than 10 min wait!

Dr Barry Berman
I suspected I had Hemochromatosis as some specific labs were out of range. I assembled my archived labs and made an appointment with him. I showed him my records, he listened very attentively, he examined me and ordered a couple other tests to exclude differential diagnoses. My test came back positive with 2 copies of the HFE mutation, common in people from Celtic ancestry. Unfortunately, the treatment is good old Medieval blood-letting. He started me with phlebotomies until my labs were normal and under maintenance control. He is smart, skilled, congenial, approachable and is an asset to FCS and our community.

I went from the outside office to the waiting room within five minutes, which is good, but then I waited inside in the room where the doctor would come in about close to an hour I`d say so that was a long time to wait for Dr. Berman. Thank you.

Dr. Berman treated my MIL for lung cancer, she didn’t have insurance and was treated subpar. She passed away less than 60 days after being diagnosed, Dr. Berman has callously sent us a bill every month for the last 3 years to try and collect $2 for the seven times he saw her. We have advised his staff that she has passed but still they demand their $14. I would give him no stars, if possible.

Dr. Berman has no consideration for appointment times, he is always late. I feel that he is not taking the time to know my specific case and background. He lost my blood test, in my opinion he takes too long to prescribe additional medication. He waited until my blood levels were too high to prescribe the new medication. His bedside manner is awful, he has a lack of urgency to focus on my case is behind the ball when it came to my cancer blood levels spiking.

I have had two appointments with Dr. Berman. The first was supposedy his earlier appointments at 8:30 am and the second at 8:45 am. I waited in the exam room for the first time 1+ hours. The second time I waited for 2 hours. There is no regard for being timely and respecting appointments. Other than that, the doctor is nice and seems knowledgeable but it was nothing outstanding. Wouldn't recommend.
