This is harder to rate because there were three more people. Perhaps an NP, Assistant, and Dr. Z. The ratings above apply to Dr. Z. I'm not sure why we had to meet with the first pair (second set of providers out of three). My son was intimidated and hid, and we really could have skipped this part because Dr. Z asked the same questions but actually provided answers and a plan. It was difficult to answer the questions and provide the information I wanted to convey thrice while also trying to support my young child. I expected the pediatric specialists to interact with him in a friendlier and more encouraging way.

He did not introduce himself when he walked in the room so first impression wasn't great but really appreciated his knowledge, patience, and explanations.

The number of doctors (students/residents) in the consultation room was overwhelming and intimidating for a 13yo with Down Syndrome. 4 staff members all at once before the main doctor.

Extremely rude and unprofessional
Wow, will not be returning. Cannot believe I waited seven months for my son to be seen by this man. Never experienced such deplorable and disrespectful behavior from a so-called “pediatric” dermatologist. Doubtful this man has kids or knows how to act with them. That being said the nurse practitioner and other office staff were nice and polite. Don’t see this man if you demand respect, what a joke.

Dr.Z has a focus on quality of life. He listens to all concerns and weighs options. He is quick to respond to emails- usually by calling. Drastically changed my child’s eczema.
