Dr. Barbara Huynh, DO

Dr. Huynh has been my psychiatrist for almost 1 year now and she has been great. She listens, with patience and understands my situations. She prescribed me with the right medications and helping with my depression, anxiety, and sleeping problems. I was referred by someone and I highly recommend Dr. Huynh.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Huynh for a few months now and I couldn’t be happier with the care I’ve received. She is incredibly nice, caring, and genuinely wants to help her patients. I had to reschedule appointments a couple of times and she was always accommodating. Even when I was late to an appointment, she still made time to see me and ensured I was well taken care of.The office staff at savant-care is also very kind and accommodating, which adds to the overall positive experience. All in all, I highly recommend Dr. H to anyone looking for a doctor who is compassionate and dedicated to her patients’ well-being.

I have suffered from anxiety and panic disorder for over a decade. Dr. Huynh has helped me and for that I am extremely grateful! She is very professional and I highly recommend her!

I have been seeing Dr. Huynh since August 2023 and she has significantly improved my well-being. I generally envision my treatment as a scientific problem that we are solving using medication. I don’t go through my life story, or expect a shoulder to cry on. You can see a therapist for that. However, she is very nice and will converse should that be something you are into. I try to show up to the appointments with some key points to talk about. Given that information, she will ask some other questions, then talks about medication options, how each can help, and ask if I have any questions or concerns. I was surprised to find any negative reviews. One complaint is someone’s personal gripe and doesn’t sound like an actual patient. The others seem to desire a psychiatrist that is also their therapist, or the expectation that you will immediately find the perfect regimen. It can be tough adjusting to new medication, but stick with it, you'll be happy you did. I highly recommend Dr. Huynh.

Dr. Huynh treated me more than just a patient, I felt heard and understood. She took her time by explaining to me my diagnosis and what medications would benefit me the most. I've been to many psychiatrists and I find her to be the most knowledgeable with Tx and the overall care I received. She is easy to talk to, I would recommend anyone who needs mental relief to give her a try.

Dr. Huynh was able to immediately identify which medication was right for me. I did not have to try different medications, as the first one she prescribed worked perfectly. She helped me find the ideal dosage for me. She is punctual with appointments and conducts a thorough check in.

Dr. Huynh was very professional and spent time explaining my diagnosis.The nature of the course of the illness if it is treated vs un treated she discussed various treatment options ,risks ,benefits and adverse effects of each treatment . She is very knowledgeable with psychiatric medications I felt heard and had a great experience .

She seems out of it all the time, I've had 4 appointments and will now look for someone else. Hard to get a hold of her. Medication's side effect was very strong, and I felt like she was not empathetic towards my situation. I tried giving her a chance but in the end I'm going to look for someone who will care.

I can't say enough poor things about her. She's a DO who went to a not so great school but that being said, I didn't mind all that when making an apt. It was easy to get in. She is extremely non empathetic and didn't remember much of anything about me from one appointment to the next. She heavily sedated me with 4 different prescriptions which I am weaning from. I had severe side effects which she told me were impossible to get but Google and 3 other doctors disagree. I question her competency.
