Probably the worst MFM doctor there is. She terrified me on my first appointment ever at high risk and I left thinking my twins and myself were going to die. She told me our bodies are not meant to carry litters like hello I am a person not a dog so that comment was beyond unnecessary. She spent the entire time just giving me worse case scenarios and that if the egg would have split any later they could be conjoined and all this stuff that as a first time mom you don’t need to hear since some of it didn’t even apply to our case I thought I got lucky because she didn’t have have my case after that expect for my 35 weeks appointment we went in and they heard an arrhythmia on my twin A and her course of action was to go home and just make our way to the hospital in a few hours to go in for a c- section I asked if I could get the serious shot for their lungs since they were only 35 weeks and she told me no it wasn’t necessary… well guess what my boys spent 38 days in the NICU because th

Non-personable and dismissive
I saw Dr. Head for two consecutive pregnancies at the MFM perinatal center at RSF healthcare and she is very dismissive and non- personable doctor. I saw her during my last pregnancy and immediately asked not to see her again and then I just saw her during this pregnancy and unfortunately had to call again to make sure that I was not seeing her. Something has got to give with this lady, she should be a mortician based on her people skills.

Dr. Head proved to be a friendly face and a well-below average physician. Her attention to detail was abysmal and her response time non-existent. I actually had to remind her verbally and via the email portal what tests and bloodwork needed scheduling (not kidding). I wouldn’t see her or anyone at MUSC MFM practice. My experience is based on having had my first child in a major metropolitan area surrounded by any number of world-renowned physicians. My disappointment at her service and that of MUSC was so great I considered filing a medical malpractice suit.

Worse doctor and staff ever. Encouraged me to abort my baby from a screening only. Very unkind and rude. Dismissive. Will not be returning

I felt rushed and dismissed. When I asked questions for clarity I was interrupted and nothing was explained to me in detail. I will not be going back.

Knowledgeable, but I felt rushed with my questions. Staff not compassionate. Left with more questions than answers.

Pregnant with twins after having a stillbirth at 34 weeks. My whole pregnancy none of the other perinatal Dr's or even my OB seemed to think it was a big deal.they all thought it would've been okay to induce me at the normal 38-40 weeks even though that was potentially dangerous, with my history. At 35 weeks, the appointment was with Dr. H and she called my OB immediately to schedule the birth bc the situation was risky.so thankful for her decision.my twins are fine.she was the only one who cared.

She identified a heart defect in my baby quickly enough to where I was taken up for surgery asap at 31wks, he spent a month and some change in the NICU and is now 5yrs old and healthy, had he gone longer being oxygen deprived he could have been seriously brain damaged or even died. So grateful for her!

After receiving some pretty devastating test results from my OB. I contacted the Henrico Doctors office-the scheduler got me in the next day and reassured me that Dr. Head would answer all my questions. The day of my appointment Dr. Head provided an abundance of information that put us at ease. I appreciate everything this office has done for me ? from the scheduler answering the phone to the genetic counselor to Dr. Head. I will recommend this office to everyone!!

Very knowledgeable but felt as though she was very dismissive. Appointment felt rushed and impersonal. Calling to make or reschedule appointments is horrible. You can wait more than 30 minutes on hold before you even talk to anyone.
