My first impression of Dr. Carter at my first appointment with her was well. She seemed kind and explained everything clearly. It wasn't until I had a follow up appointment with her, where I requested FMLA paperwork be completed, for a diagnosis made by Dr.Carter. Upon receiving the paperwork she had a few questions to which I answered. I received the completed paperwork and turned it in. The Company later requested a few more details and changes to the paperwork. I returned the paperwork to Dr.Carter and explained the details being requested. Upon doing so Dr.Carter seemed very irritated, and frustrated, that I was asking her to revisit this. I felt uncomfortable, and ashamed, as if I were doing something wrong by asking for this paperwork my work required. I felt so uncomfortable by this interaction I later decided to seek care elsewhere, as I felt it would be very awkward to continue treatment with her, after this encounter.
