Dr. Bao Dang, MD

Dr. Dang is a wonderful doctor and a compassionate human being. For the life of me I don't understand the negative comments about his care. I am a type 2 diabetic and have been seeing Dr. Dang for many many years. He is always professional, courteous and thorough when I visit. He is a very good doctor.

Too unprofessional if you question him hell refuse to be your dr. Should never have become a dr. Should have been a proctologist

I read all the reviews before visiting the office and almost canceled my appointment due to the bad reviews. I’m glad I did not. Everyone has their own experience but I found Dr. Dang, his nurse and all clinic staff at Baptist Health to be professional and kind. He was very welcoming, knowledgeable and professional during my visit. I will continue to use him in the future as my PCP.

Zero Stars. I will never return or recommend Dr. Dang. He had no bedside manners and couldn’t wait to get out of the room. He didn’t seem to want to answer questions or relieve any of my concerns. I went to see him because I am experiencing right side facial paralysis. He told me that I most likely had Bell’s Palsy. He seemed to dismiss my concerns that I may be experiencing a more serious and rare condition of Melkersson–Rosenthal Syndrome that my mother is diagnosed with. When he looked up my mom’s condition he said “well there is no cure so there is nothing I can do”. He did not take any labs, urine sample, look inside my mouth since I had a recent filling replaced, or suggest that I follow up with a neurologist or ENT. I had to ask if I should get a referral to a specialist and he said “tell me who you want to see”. He did not guide me in a direction of who I should seek care with. I left this appointment crying and feeling worse then when I went in.

this review would also be a 0 star if that was an option. this is the rudest doctor i have ever encountered and just sorry our pcp was not an option the few times we have been to the clinic. not only was he rude to us but i heard him be rude to the staff. my sympathies to them for having to work around this arrogant person. this explains why such a short wait time at this clinic. people who have had the experience of seeing him have gone somewhere else. boo to sparks system for allowing this.

This review would actually be a zero star. After seeing Dr Bao Dang 3-5 times, he said "he was sorry; he didn't know what was wrong with me and couldn't help me." I was hospitalized shortly after and now have no follow up doctor to see. I am still gravely ill and looking to extablish new patient care. What a horrible doctor and human being.

Dr. Dang spent considerable time discovering what was the cause of my sudden decrease in hearing. He developed a plan to address it, conveyed instructions to staff, followed up promptly and took further action to correct the matter. When he realized I could not hear him well, he spoke loudly enough for me to hear me. He explained everything clearly. I plan to see him if other issues arise. I will check with staff to see if Dr. Bao Dang accepts scheduled patients.
