Dr. Balakrishna Mangapuram, MD

This doctor has an odd personality and I don't feel comfortable with him. In four years, I've seen him very little. He asked me why I never go to see him. I replied that I'm not sick very much! Also, he must be difficult to work for because every time I go, there is a different receptionist/medical assistant. I've only seen one other patient, one time, in the waiting room, and wonder how he keeps the doors open. He asks me for blood work when all I came in for was a referral, required by another doctor from the PCP. What's up with the blood? If I had symptoms requiring blood work, I'd understand, but I don't. Will be looking for another PCP.

Not engaged and refused to serve as PCP for my daughter, who had a heart transplant in 2018. Said she was "non-compliant" and did not seek his care in 2018. Interesting, as she was in the hospital for the transplant and recovery. However, as a "coordinator of care", he never called or sought out any sort of involvement in care management. Did nothing at all.

most unprofessional doctor i have ever seen. & ive seen a LOT of doctors in my life. when i went in to see him, he didnt have something my ins was asking for & he began yelling at ME! when i called 2 get my physical results, 2 months later, he told the gal to tell me everything was gr8, it is NOT. i have been diabetic for years now & hormones r off, did he even do my physical 4 real? best advice: RUN!! ...the OTHER direction! u have to make an appt for everything. he just wants to charge ins.

Very kind doctor, was able to help me with my issues. Was able to contact him directly and he addressed all my concerns in a courteous manner. Will be using him again if any issues come up. For anyone in the future, he is busy in the mornings, but pretty free in the afternoon from what I have seen.

My dad has sleeping problems and in order to refill his prescription he had to visit the doctor every so often and the doctor wouldn’t even ask him questions about his health. The worst part is that he never detected in the yearly physical exams or CBC that my dad had Leukemia! Stay away from this doctor!

Very nice Doctor, listened to everything I needed to say and gave me advice and prescriptions to alleviate the issue I'm having.There was no wait, I arrived on time for my appointment and was taken straight back. The office staff is helpful and always answer the phone on the first couple rings and I was even able to speak over the phone with the Dr. directly once about my ongoing problem.I've had offices in the past that I've had to leave VM's and wait but they answer right away.

He is a very good Dr and listens to your issues,

If you want quick service then this is your guy. If you want thorough care run in the other direction. Anytime you need anything, no matter what it is, you have to make an appointment. It's ridiculous! Plus everything I have ever seen him for I had to tell him what I needed. I should NOT have to be my own Dr! I will not go back. I should have known when the first time I went to see him I got an appointment the day I called, got there and there were no patients and its the same every time I go.

My first time to visit the the Dr's office went very well. They were organized and on time. The Dr promptly saw me and was very nice. I will be back!

Went for a physical and he never even listen to my heart beat. Just ordered blood work and then he never called with the results. The staff needs to be given classes in customer service.

Not the best doc. Wouldn't help me out with my add, even though I'm starting school in a couple days, or my cracked lip just looked at me and said its dry.
