Dr. Babak Shahrokh, DMD

After my regular cleaning he came to check a vintage filling that should be replaced after decades. He explained why it's time to replace it with a crown. I've had this done before here and the process is hi tech and takes place in one visit. Very pleased with everything donwe at this office.

When I went to get a cleaning (no charge) last week I was handed a paper that said I owed $25 for "floride treatment". No one asked me if I wanted it prior to coming in and I said I only came in for a cleaning so they took it off the bill. While I was sitting waiting to be seen there was a gentleman who came in for a cleaning and was giving a bill for over $400 for "deep cleaning" that he was not aware of. When he questioned it, at first the office manager said "oh, that amount is a mistake, you only owe $300 something." (Shady) When he objected, she said he could pay half at this appointment and half at the next one. He also told her he only wanted a normal cleaning and had no idea they were planning on doing anything more. If he hadn't questioned the original amount they would have over charged him! I need to find a new dentist that is honest and doesn't try to sell you things you don't want, or need or aren't aware of.

Dr. Shahrokh is WONDERFUL!! Patient, informative, kind, affordable and fast! Best Dentist in the area and beyond. Plentiful parking. Clean office, kind staff. My son and I have been here 6,7 times and have never had to wait. Dr. Shahrokh has the most gentle touch and did I mention he is FAST?!! I ABSOLUTELY recommend him!!

He goes above and beyond what you would expect. Can't say enough good about him. Best I have ever known.

I was looking for a good dentist in north county area and found Dr. Shahrokh on the internet. I found him and his staff to be extremely professional and friendly! He resolved my immediate dental problem and planning to do a crown later on. I could not be happier with his services and would strongly recommend this dentist to everyone.

I can't begin to tell you how amazing this place is! I had a dental emergency and I am one of those nightmare patients that doesn't have insurance, haven't been to a dentist in years and my mouth is pretty bad. I had a tooth that had gotten so bad I couldn't sleep or eat or anything without severe pain. I had been to 3 other dentists before here and they all took me in saying they would work with me, then took some x-rays and charged me 100$. Then they all wanted to send me to other places where they just wanted to take more x-rays and then charge me for the consultations and they never did any actual work on my tooth. I was on my 5th day of horrible excruciating pain, and I finally was recommended to San Marcos Dental Studio by a friend (BEST FRIEND!). I called and they wanted to see me that day! I went in and immediately got taken to a chair and got a full mouth x-ray, which none of the other dentists did. Then we discussed what the best plan was and hashed out an amazing price and

What a great experience I had in this office yesterday.!!!!!. From the front desk staff to the assistants to the state of the art dental equipment and above all to Dr. Shahrokh's professionalism and calm demeanor and kind heart. Got everything done including a permanent crown all in one visit. Great investment Dr. Shahrokh. It is worth it. No one has time or patience to put up with the embarrassment of outdated temporary crowns for weeks. Thank you again for the wonderful work done.
