Dr. Rad as well as his knowledgeable and friendly staff made my whole experience with my diagnosis of colorectal cancer much easier to accept as well as be able to work through. Quick response time, beautiful office and smiles on the staff faces helped put my mind at ease.

Simply the best
Had my second colonoscopy with Dr Rad. Fully explained procedure. Did a DRE at the pre-consultation. Went through results directly after procedure and told me to reschedule for surveillance in 3 years time. Totally satisfied with this guy.

Scheduling issues galore!
I visited Dr Rad the first week of Dec, and there was no follow up to schedule the diagnosed procedure. After multiple voice mails and a call back saying the scheduler was out, I finally got a scheduled procedure. When she gave the date I noted it was the President’s day holiday, and was assured that the Dr works Mondays nevertheless. 3 weeks later I got a call that it needed to be rescheduled because it was a holiday!!!I decided to see the Dr to discuss the procedure and when I arrived I was told that the appointment was earlier in the day and I couldn’t be seen. I contacted another Dr’s office, had a check up and will have the procedure within 2 weeks.

My Doctor Stood Behind Me
Dr. Radd was my doctor during my journey with cancer in 2015. I was referred to him by my primary doctor. He was friendly, professional, and compassionate throughout the whole timeline. He treated me and my partner with such respect and dignity that he quickly became a favorite in our care team. He was honest without being harsh. He was also a guest on my podcast and I still talk about him in presentations. His name is known in conferences because I talk about him quite a bit. My best memory of the day I was diagnosed with cancer is when he said, "We got this", and I knew that besides my partner he would be with us through the whole process. He was!

No I would not he didn’t follow up and was rushed and rude- He didn’t get back to me about results from an MRI, my primary care physician was furious with him- I had gone to him in the past and was pleased something changed, it’s difficult to get an appointment and he’s too busy, to follow up on patients-

Great Dr, but it’s a very poor business practice to accept a patient without first verifying insurance coverages.

Dr Rad was very clear in his evaluation of my complicated condition. His manner makes it easy to talk to. His concern about my wellbeing is strong. He made a recommendation that I go to USC since I have several doctors there. There I would have a team from several specialities. He call my primary doctor at USC and asked that he admit me immediately. Later after hours he called me to make sure that I got my admission to USC Keck hospital. I only know one other doctor who would do that.

Not recommended. I saw Dr. Rad in the summer of 2016 for constipation, lower abdominal pain and rectal difficulties. He performed 2 tests decided nothing was wrong with me. Pain worsened 6 months later saw 2 more colorectal surgeons one with Cleveland Clinic and one with Cedars Sinai, both determined I had a kinked colon, 14" removed and a rectum needing repair. Dr Rad only relied on 2 tests and did not take the extra step to find out what was wrong with me, his attitude was quite dismissive.

Dr. Rad did a colon resection for me in January 2013 (I had colon cancer). He also did a colon resection for my wife in 2013 (she had diverticulitis). In both cases our surgeries were a success. 3.5 years later, we are still functioning normally despite losing a foot of our colon. I can't imagine a better surgeon.
