I had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Behgam during a recent visit to the emergency room, and I cannot express enough how grateful I am for his exceptional care. From the moment I entered the examination room, Dr. Behgam demonstrated an outstanding bedside manner that immediately put me at ease. What stood out the most was how attentively they listened to my concerns. It was clear that Dr. Behgam genuinely cared about my well-being. He took the time to understand not only my medical issues but also my personal concerns, making me feel truly heard and valued as a patient. Throughout the consultation, Dr. Behgam addressed all of my questions with clarity and compassion, which alleviated much of my anxiety. His thorough approach to diagnosing my long-standing problem was impressive; He didn’t rush through the process and ensured we explored all possible solutions together. Thanks to Dr. Behgam's dedication and expertise, I finally feel like I'm on the right path towards recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Behgam to anyone in need of medical attention. His blend of professional knowledge and empathetic care is truly unmatched! Thank you, Dr. Behgam, for making a difference in my health and life!

Condescending Rude Doctor
Dr. Behgam was incredibly condescending. He didn’t ask me a single question before accusing me of being on the verge of a panic attack (which I don’t get), then told us we overreacted by coming in for a BP of 190 over 102—even though every reputable source says to seek emergency care for this as it might be a hypertensive crisis (fatal). He claimed everything online is wrong except for one source behind a paywall that he knows about, and said you should never Google symptoms. When I asked how long the visit might take (since now I felt dumb for even being there), he pointed to the time-estimate chart and said, “It takes as long as it takes—I hate that chart.” Then added something about trauma patients possibly coming in.... Sure, we know how triage workds, but you can still give people a ballpark and not be so rude answering a normal question (I was out in two hours.) His treatment plan was fine, all hospital staff was wonderful, but his tone and attitude were unnecessarily dismissive.

Excellent Experience!
Dr. Behgam MD is an exceptional doctor who has truly made a difference in my life. As a congestive heart failure patient, I’ve had my share of challenges, but Dr. Behgam’s professionalism and depth of knowledge have been a constant source of hope and reassurance. He is not only incredibly knowledgeable in his field but also takes the time to provide personalized care. When I needed him the most, he was there, offering guidance and support that went beyond just medical advice. His compassionate and attentive approach made me feel truly cared for as a person, not just as a patient.I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Behgam to anyone in need of excellent healthcare. He is a shining example of what a doctor should be—dedicated, empathetic, and extraordinarily skilled.Andre 'Dean' ButlerCongestive Heart Failure Patient

Excellent emergency medicine
Went to the ER for my husband last night and Dr Behgam was personable and explained everything very thoroughly. He has excellent bedside manners and put us at easy. Great physician that is knowledgeable.

Worst Medical Experience Ever
I had an awful experience with Dr. Behgam. He hardly listened to me and brushed off everything I mentioned, even claiming that my problems didn’t exist. To make matters worse, he was incredibly condescending throughout the entire visit. He didn’t even bother to approach me for a proper examination or conduct any tests, stating in my chart that I didn’t want them, while also mentioning that he’d make more money if he did-as if I should be grateful. His attitude throughout was dismissive and unprofessional. It was clear he had no intention of taking my concerns seriously or providing proper care. His entire demeanor made me feel unheard and disrespected. I expect doctors to provide proper care and take their patients seriously—Dr. Behgam failed on every level. Avoid Dr. Behgam at all costs if you want a doctor who actually listens and cares.

Thinks highly of himself
This DO was awful. 3 other MD’s told me completely different things. If you made statements or ask questioned he made it seem like you were not as educated so how dare you question me. He quoted his research paper 4 times. None of which are found online. He’s not an MD. He’s not a cardiologist nor a primary care Dr. he should not be giving cardiology directions when there is a cardiologist on call at all times. 5 hours till they called the cardiologist only after I agreed to be checked in to the hospital.

Rushed and made me feel guilty
Showed up with pelvic pain and a numb leg. Refused to test for anything saying that my leg strength was fine so I was fine. Got frustrated when I asked questions to seek better understanding and made me feel rushed.

Excellent ED physician
My husband visited BSW-Centennial ED on a Friday morning due to abdominal pain, which was quickly identified as a potential heart attack. Dr. Behgam took charge of the situation and the room. He asked specific questions, gathering as much data as possible to make difficult decisions. He directed other staff members and consulted with the on-call cardiologist. Initially, he seemed direct, even mean, but it became clear that he was focused on providing the best medical care. When my husband stabilized and we had some downtime, Dr. Behgam took the time to explain his decisions and the reasoning behind his questions. We both appreciated his willingness to involve us in his thought process. He displayed the situational leadership necessary for an effective ED physician, transitioning seamlessly between serious mode and great bedside manner as required.

Great caring Dr. with excellent bedside manner!
Dr. Behgam is perhaps the most thorough, attentive and caring Dr. I’ve seen in over 10 years. You could see and feel his sincerity to get to the bottom of why I was in pain. He made me feel like my care was a priority and not an inconvenience. Dr. Behgam also involved me in his decisions regarding treatment. I had such a wonderful experience that a month after seeing Dr. Behgam in the ER and telling all my friends, I searched on the internet to find his medical practice so that he could become my PCP but unfortunately he only practices in the ER. This is perhaps the 3rd review I’ve ever written but I had to say thank you to Dr. Behgam for such wonderful care! Good Dr’s are rare but Dr. Behgam is changing that mold. I wish him all the best.
