Thorough and compassionate
I was so impressed with Dr. Khanifar. He made space to see me on an emergency basis, and despite the office being atypically busy that day, he met with me for all of the time I needed. His examination was thorough. His explanations were clear. His answers to my questions were helpful and direct. So grateful to have met with him and would recommend him and his staff without hesitation.

Patience required . . .
Exorbitant wait times (both in the lobby and exam room), as if they're either over-booking or need more Dr's on duty to handle the influx of patient appts. However, Dr. Khanifar was proficient in his profession, having a calm demeanor and providing sage advice.

Dr. Khanifar is an excellent physician very skilled and competent. However, the Retina group are not properly managing the appointment schedule, wait times appear exorbitant as there are never enough Drs to handle the patients.

Pissed!!
I waited 4 and 1/2 hours in the waiting room just for him to tell me he couldn't do my daughters exam and she needs to be put to sleep to have it done.. we were there after most of the staff had left for the day.. and now it's a month later and we are waiting for him to sign off on her procedure... her eye could be out her head by the time he signs off!!!

Outstanding doctor. I consider myself fortunate that I was referred to Dr. Khanifar a number of years ago when I began having problems with retinopathy. The staff members are friendly and professional and do a wonderful job streamlining the process. Dr. Khanifar is always pleasant and gentle if a shot has to be administered. I feel I am in very good hands with him and his staff.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Khanifar for over 8 years. He is treating my macular degeneration. I get very nervous and have anxiety about getting shots in my eyes. Dr. Khanifar is the most kind and understanding doctor I’ve ever had. He is also very professional and excellent at his job. I fully trust him with my eyes and highly recommend him.

The visit was very efficient! The staff is very pleasant & courteous. The only thing that went wrong was when I went to check out. The girl behind the desk quote me a wrong balance & sent me home with the wrong receipt. I call as soon as I realized it & the lady I spoke with corrected the error immediately!!!
