Dr. Ayushi Dixit, MD

First appointment was okay, but all subsequent follow ups were met with rudeness, arrogance and just plain no help. I asked questions about next steps and she said there are none. Just stick to the diet provided which consists of same foods each day. No plan for exercise, she said not necessary. Just plain rude in her remarks like she is doing you a big favor by coming in to the appointment for less than five minutes. If she is so disgruntled and unhappy with her profession she should switch and not be a dr seeing patients. I cancelled my next appointment, not going back. Found a new dr who is so so so kind, helpful, put me on new medication and calls to check up on me. Do not recommend, there are better, much more knowledgeable doctors out there.

Dr. Dixit was pleasant and answered all my questions. Biopsys were carried out in a very professional manner.

From the moment she walks into the exam room she is rude and obnoxious. She continues with her bad attitude throughout the visit. She will say it's because people don't like the answers to their questions, but doctor if you are reading this, it's not the answers it's how you present the answers with your edge. I gave one star in this review because the receptionist and the nurse that took my vitals were both lovely.

Just the worst bedside manner. I'd asked informed questions about the path forward with my treatment, which she refused to answer. And then when I asked her if she ordered a particular blood test, she got snarky and said, 'l know how to do my job, so let me do it' (or something to that effect). I actually said to her, you don't have to get so defensive, it was just a question. Well, I know how to spend my (insurer's) money, and it's not gonna be with Dr. Dixit. She may be clinically competent, but I'm not going to get a chance to find out. No reason to be nasty to someone who is putting money in your pocket . (And I don't think it was a coincidence that I was able to call on a Thursday and get an appointment for the following Monday at a time when many endocrinologists have long wait times for appointments.)

I am happy with Dr. Dixit, she is very knowledgeable and has good beside manner. She is always giving recommendations and she speaks to you with respect and listens to concerns. The office staff Jody in particular is always goes above and beyond, always friendly and is great with follow ups. Some of the office staff is not as friendly or reassuring things will get done, and some have had my prescriptions sent to the incorrect pharmacy (being that I have two mail and pick up) after me ensuring more than once for it to be sent to the correct pharmacy. One of the office staff members make you feel as if you're a bother when you call which is bad because the office staff and Doctor overall are great! But one bad apple can spoil everything.

I chose Dr. Dixit because I was in desperate need of an endocrinologist since the other endocrinologist i wanted , didn’t accept new patients until mid October. I was given the appointment for the next day. My first appointment was rushed, dr just asked me a few questions and abruptly changed the dosis of my medication. 2 weeks ago I had to call because I wasn’t feeling well and dr changed the dosis again. 2 days later felt worse . Melissa told me on the phone dr said NOT to take my thyroid medication for the weekend and the next day I called, someone told me Melissa no longer works there. Staff is the only friendly person i found there . I was without my med for about 5 days to end up speaking to dr Dixit on a tele visit and was no help at all. I felt disrespected, felt she was making assumptions about my medical condition and only solved the issue by sending me to my primary dr or ER not taking responsibility at all. Very unprofessional and rude in person and on the phone.

Dr Dixit is an extremely thorough and attentive doctor who is very conscientious to her patients. I would have no problem recommending her to friends and colleagues alike.

Dr. Dixit was abrupt and dismissive. She asked a question about my current diet and when I responded, she started poking fun of me saying that I need to stay off social media because that's where I am getting the misinformation that what I am eating has any nutritional value, (i.e. avocados). When she asked to schedule bloodwork, I told her that it was scheduled right after the appointment and that I had sent her a message about the appointment through the patient portal. She then pretended to be furiously typing on a keyboard asking me if I seriously thought she spent her whole day messaging with patients. I have seen many physicians in this medical group and they were all professional and caring. Dr. Dixit is the exception and I will not return. My recommendation? GO ELSEWHERE!

Dr. Dixit is knowledgeable in her field, she’s also friendly and caring. Her staff is friendly and easy to make appointments.

I chose to see this physician based on some concerns regarding my blood work. When I shared my 'why' the first remarks were ' Don't use Google.' I did not use google and was surprised that she made assumptions. This was a first time visit and I was taken aback on her stance on my PCP without knowing who that was. I would have been called into my supervisors office immediately if I treated a patient the way I was treated. She was dismissive and spent very little time with me and make assumptions on my understanding of disease processes which is unfortunate. I chose to see her based on the reviews not on recommendations. I will be setting up an appointment at the main campus ( Hackensack) moving forward with another physician based on my physicians recommendations.

I have only just met Dr. Dixit but I am already feeling relieved that I have found someone to help me During my visit Dr. Dixit was very kind, listened, knowledgeable and proactive with help. I liked the staff too. Everyone friendly and nice.

I always enjoy taking my mom to see Dr. Dixit. Her staff is great and really do a great job from the front end to the back end. I've hardly ever had to wait beyond our appointment time. Dr. Dixit is personable, but also direct and to the point. She doesn't sugarcoat which is something as a healthcare provider myself for over 18 years is something I admire. If everything looks good, she'll tell you so. If you have questions, she'll address them. If something is of concern, she won't hesitate to order the necessary tests. There is no reason to get into detail about these tests without results. Which is another great trait. If a test comes back normal, great. If not, I have full confidence she will provide the care you need. Sometimes Providers like Dr. Dixit can come off as not caring or interested. This is not the case. I assure you, she's a great Provider. And this is coming from an 18 yr Paramedic. She knows her stuff. Otherwise, I wouldn't entrust her with my mother's care. Trust me.
