Exceptional Doctor!
Dr. Ashkar is a remarkable physician! He’s extremely knowledgable, more than willing to answer all your questions, shows you your PET Scans on the computer & gives you a website to learn more. Most of all, he’s extremely caring & understands your emotions! My initial appointment with him lasted an hour! My initial app’t was scheduled for a month after my diagnosis. His office moved the app’t up 2 weeks because Dr. Ashkar didn’t want me to spend all that time worrying! I really appreciated his concern. He’s one terrific Doc!!!

I had my first visit with Dr. Ashkar in April 2021. As a new patient, he took the time to review my entire hematology/health history before meeting me. He was then able to explain the contributing cause for my anemia in lay terms, taking the time to measure my understanding. He was very thorough in his practice and responded to all my questions in a professional and personal manner. I left feeling confident in the assessment he provided. I would highly recommend Dr. Ashkar!

Dr.Ashkar is my 2nd best supporter, next to my care-giving wife. Being in the hospital for4 weeks with Multiple Myeloma, Doctor never missed a daily visit and was very Pro-Active in recommending Chemo Therapy treatment early in my prognosis. He explains medical terms in easy laymen terms and takes time to assure you of required treatment and the path to realistic recovery methods. He is more than a Doctor, he is one who cares about each patient personally, as if you are his Only Patient. He is the Best - providing the Best to one and all ! I am very fortunate to have Dr. Ashkar as my doctor - my personal Super Hero !

Dr Ashkar is taking care of both of my parents who have cancer, he is a very knowledgeable, thorough, honest and caring physician, takes his time with his patients and explains every step of their treatment and provides all the support and help including social and psychological help.
