Dr. Aviva Fohrer, MD

Dr. Aviva is a very nice person. That being said, she is in the wrong profession. During my “treatment” with her I experienced 2 intakes (my information was not saved on the first visit. Tardiness on multiple occasions, so called “computer problems,” and the misleading perception of caring. If you are reading this I do not recommend. Go to someone who truly cares, not someone who pretends to.

Dr Aviva has been a terrific resource and a great help to me! I highly recommend her.

Dr. Fohrer is the best! She takes great personal effort to address what is such a deeply personal issue for most and she does so with compassion and care!

I do believe that D. Aviva cares about her patients! she is easy to get along with once you form a relationship. I have been in and out of recovery for over 30 years, been to rehab 30 times, had numerous shrinks and professional help along the way, and Dr. Aviva is at the top of the list! I would recommend!

Just a great fit. Listens. And doesn’t judge or dictate what should be done. Offers insight and suggestions. But recovery is on the patients shoulders, and she creates a space for that to be welcomed, encouraged, assisted, etc.

Doctor Fohrer is one of the few Professional Physicians my wife and I have ever encountered. Due to the nature of her practice she has been a God-send ! Her program has been very effective with minimal problems, and has really helped us through what was something we dreaded after 20 years on pain medication ! Her medical knowledge and her psychological ( and emotional ) counseling have kept our dignity in check and made it easier to get thru each week/hurdle. Dr.Fohrer was the best thing that ever happened to as were lucky she kept us from going into a rehab facility which we have always dreaded, especially during COV-19. We would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a solid and very private detox program.
