Wonderful knowledgeable staff.Ease of appointment making.Communication is A1.Staff very helpful and polite.No long wait times.Surgery went great everything was explained in detail before and after procedure, by nutritionist, doctor, nurses and surgeon.Highly recommend! Three weeks post op and im doing very well and healing nicely!Ready to start a new chapter in my life, a healthier more radiant one!

Total 5 star, higher if it was allowed. Great Doctor, Surgeon for a Hiatal hernia repair. Very Knowledgeable, explained everything well, and very kind. Highly recommended.

Dropped with no warning
I had a great experience for the first three months. Great staff. Blood work was good. Mild sleep apnea. Was loosing weight and got dietitian approval for surgery. Just waiting for psych eval. Have a long history of mental illness (diagnosed at 16, now 40, and have a family history) and being on meds. Even though I have been stable and it was my psych doctor that recommended Dr. Ben-Meir, I was dropped with no notice, future appointments cancelled and told that I was not allowed to be a future patient because I had failed my psych exam. I really feel left hanging with nowhere to go. Upon searching, 18% of people fail. I have found that most programs "work with you". That is why I am in such shock. They wished me luck with a future surgeon. I'm very concerned about back sliding and gainig the weight I have lost. I reached out to my GP and Psych Dr and they are taking over my care where I was left neglectfully hanging.

Dr Ben-Meir has been the best Doctor I have ever had. Very supportive and knowledgeable . Has never made me feel like I was bothering him. I highly without a doubt recommend Dr. Ben-Meir.

It has only been 6 days since my surgery but I wanted to express my complete gratitude for Dr. Ben-Meir and his support staff along with the everyone in the hospital. Not only is he a great surgeon but only offers the best care possible! I highly recommend his program at Lake Health. I have never felt like I have been taken such great care off! Each person was rooting for me and did all they could to make my experience successful! Thank you Dr. Ben-Meir for the first step to my new life!
