After receiving a new diagnosis of breast cancer, I went on to research doctors . I chose Dr. Austin Williams at Fox Chase Cancer Center after reading that not only did he have excellent credentials and experience, but that his bedside manner was outstanding and caring. From my first meeting with Dr. Williams , through my surgical experience with him and my post - op visit , I definitely agree with all of the above! I am a registered nurse, but he still explained my treatment plan in detail and answered any questions I had . He added a ray of sunshine to an otherwise scary new diagnosis, with his reassuring bedside manner. A Lumpectomy was recommended. The surgery went very well . He then took the time to call me when pathology results were available, instead of having to wait for my appointment date. I highly recommend Dr. Austin Williams for your care.

Dr Williams has a gentle & honest manner that is very reassuring. In situations when you need surgery, you might not always know what to ask. That was fine because he knew what to share, gave clear explanations, and then listened to my concerns and responded as if no question was too odd. Once I missed my appointment, and he actually picked up the phone to see if I was okay... he genuinely cares. My surgery went without complications thanks to Dr Williams and the staff at Fox Chase Cancer Center. The entire team helped me make informed decisions, negotiated all my orders, and made sure my post-treatment is going just as smoothly. I'm glad I went to Fox Chase and highly recommend Dr Williams.

I had an exceptional experience with Dr. Williams. He attentiveness to my car, genuine concerns and willingness to spend time addressing my concerns truly sets him apart. The follow-up calls and emails demonstrated a commitment that went above and beyond. I am so grateful for his expertise and compassionate approach during a difficult time.

I was impressed when I researched Dr William’s education and accolades - but even more so when I met him for my appointment! He had an excellent kind manner about him, took time to explain my diagnosis, my options, my questions. I did not feel rushed and felt well informed. Once we were done with the appointment, I was confident in scheduling my surgery with him as soon as possible. He did an excellent job with my surgery and everything went as explained. He also helped with some special requests I had as well - without hesitation ! I also owe him my life and wouldn’t hesitate to have him as a surgeon if I ever needed him again.
