Rushed, no explanation, and no other options
I returned to Dr. Evans after 3 years because she was a great doctor my first year here in Texas. Although, Dr. Evans diagnose me properly, she did not take her time to explain my options or explain to me what was going on. Dr. Evans first response was surgery when I was not having as many symptoms as most patients have with this diagnosis. I felt rushed, Dr. Evans seemed very overwhelmed with her work load. I can say Dr. Evans is extremely nice but really need to take her time with each patient explaining their diagnosis and other options other than surgery, if it is not a life and death situation, especially with Dr. Evans having female organs herself. I was depressed for weeks, crying, and taking off work because the surgery would change my future. I decided to have a second opinion, when I was told surgery was not needed, the doctor sketched out on paper what was going on, and also gave me options to help with my symptoms prescribing a natural supplement.

Rude much!! Would not recommend!!!!!
I did my research so that my college student could have a doctor in the area. This doctor got good reviews so I recommended my daughter go to her. She made 2 comments about my daughter's body. Neither which was a result in a health issue. I was appalled at the lack of professionalism! It is difficult to get young girls to go to this type of doctor anyway. TOTALLY disgusted!!!

Amazing Doctor
I absolutely adore Dr. Evans. She is the first DR. to take my issues seriously and she did so with EMPATHY. She is a great doctor and I trust her 100%. I’m equally impressed with the office personnel too. Always easy to schedule never have to wait very long to be seen. My daughter sees her too and loves her too.

VERY UNEMPATHETIC
She dropped me as a patient more than halfway through my pregnancy because I had to push back one appointment as I had lost my job being laid off due to covid-19 and no longer had health insurance. I told them i needed a little bit of time to get things adjusted, but they still dropped me. I had to spend over a month looking for a doctor to take me in so far into my pregnancy. It made things very difficult for me. I had been seeing her for a few years and was completely astonished that they would just drop a pregnant woman in need of treatment because of one appointment!!!!

Unprofessional. Very unhelpful. I went through 3 miscarriages and she had no plan, no precautionary measures, no medication, nor anything for me. I didn’t ask her for any because I trusted her at that time. While going through my miscarriage, I told her my husband wanted to speak to her and she said, ‘I know what he’s gonna ask, why is this happening, I don’t have answers for that’. She just made assumptions without even listening to what there patient has to say. So when my husband came in, she said the same thing to him. And he’s like that’s not my question. I wanted to make sure my wife is okay.

I had an appointment scheduled for 11:15. I scheduled this appointment 3 weeks ago and was told I would need to fill out forms prior to arriving. I received an email to set up an account but no forms. I never received a confirmation call. However I showed up 15 mins early to fill out any forms and my appointment was rescheduled without my knowledge. Nobody knows why and the office manager was the one who rescheduled it. I was not able to be seen after scheduling my entire work day around this.

Aungel Evans delivered my daughter. My first child. She's a really good provider. The reason I give her a four stars is because of a little miscommunication between the two of us. Great provider.
