Horrible experience
Horrible experience.I scheduled an appt as a new patient to get my medication refilled. Spoke to the MA and the provider who confirmed my first fill I can pick up at the local pharmacy (since I informed them I was completely out of psych meds). Turns out the provider made the decision, without discussing with me, to send through the mail order pharmacy which left me without my psych meds for over a week.I was told to have labs done the same day, which I assumed was for my medication because the reason for the labs was never disclosed. Later learned after a large bill that the labs had nothing to do with my medication (the only reason for my visit). The provider Augustine Obinnah, MD seemed more worried about me scheduling a pap with him rather than discuss my only reason for the appointment, my medication. The clinic refuses to hold themselves accountable for their mistakes, and now I have to pay for them.If you are looking for quality and genuine care avoid this guy!!

Incapable of looking at the bigger picture. Patient had steady cognitive and motor decline over the last 1.5 years and no cognitive tests or imaging was ordered. When family raised concerns after multiple falls, the concerns were dismissed and no further evaluation were done. Overall, I do not recommend this physician as they did not provide the care my family member needed.

Dr Obinnah has been treating me for almost 20 years. He is competent, compassionate and treats all of his patients that way. The wait time is sometimes about 10-15 minutes, but I know that I will receive the same attention that the patient ahead of me is getting, so it's well worth the wait. I've moved almost an hour away from the office and still drive to see my Dr and will continue to do so. Thank you Dr. Obinnah

I found Dr. Obinnah to be a very compassionate and understanding physician. He listens to me and explain things very clearly. He is not judgmental, nor does he jump to conclusions or make assumptions. He is cautious about making the right diagnosis and doing what's best for me as an individual. I appreciate his approach. My recommendation is based on my experiences as a patient but I do want to mention that I am a retired RN. I have seen Dr. Obinnah 2-3 times and so far I am very pleased.

For context, I've only been to this clinic once, but it wasn't a great experience. Also, I only go to the doctor once every year or two for a men's health physical, so I don't have a lot of experience in clinics (though I do go to the dentist and eye doctor for regular checkups as well). Also, I'm a white-collar professional with a post-graduate degree, and I'm 40 years old and generally healthy. A year ago we moved near the Reunion area of Commerce City and selected this place because we could

Called 5 times in 5 days to get an appointment, with no call back. He referred me to a shoulder specialist, but forgot to get approval from my insurance before seeing a specialist. He seems ok, but the staff is worthless.
