Dr. Katz is amazing! Never before has a doctor been so extremely thorough and focused on figuring out what was needed to help our daughter. Our daughter had complicated unresolved GI issues for 9 years and had seen 4 different gastroenterologists in TN before we contacted Dr. Katz in Boston. After only a few virtual appointments and reading her very long medical history, Dr. Katz was able to get us some answers. He had the clinical expertise and clinical curiosity that was needed to finally solve the problem. She has now been symptom free for 6 months after following Dr. Katz’s recommendations. He is kind, generous with his time, and has a great sense of humor. He always makes us laugh at some point in every appointment with him. He is a real treasure!

My daughter was referred to Dr Katz due to chronic abdominal issues. From moment one my teen was very comfortable with Dr. Katz. He is a great listener and is not the least bit dismissive. My daughter loves him.

Dr. Katz had been my doctor for severe chronic pancreatitis beginning when I was 2 years old to when I "graduated" to adult GI when I was 22. With over 60 hospitalizations between us, I can always say that Dr. Katz and his colleagues provided me with the best care possible. My family and myself had 100% trust in him and he always made himself available to us. He was an advocate for me during my hospitalizations to ensure I got the best care possible and is very knowledgable.

My now 4.5 year old has been seeing Dr. Katz since she was weeks old. Pediatricians were dismissive, but Katz listened and understood the severity of my daughter's reflux. He has her on a protocol that dramatically improved her reflux allowing her to sleep like a normal child. It's nice to see the allergist and nutritionist with him all in one appointment. So we can also work on the big picture. This is a very efficient and well managed practice.

Dr. Katz has been amazing and extremely attentive to our family. Two of my daughters are now diagnosed with Crohn's disease and are in full remission. His staff is very professional and always willing to see us in case of emergency. Dr. Katz has made sure my daughters are getting the treatment that they need, even if he has to squeeze us an appointment during lunch hours. I would recommend him for anyone with gastrointestinal needs.

At 3 weeks of age, our newborn was referred to Dr. Katz. Our 3week old baby was severely jaundiced, dehydrated and failure to thrive. Through several tests, medication, and top notch care, my now soon to be 25 year old son is a happy and healthy young man. I cannot say enough about Dr. Katz. He was kind, thorough and left no stone unturned. This was an extremely emotional time for me not knowing what the outcome would be. He was always upbeat, reassuring and extremely kind.
