Dr. Atul Singla, MD

Dr. Singla treated my dad while he was in the ICU. He gave the best care possible, was very respectful to my dad and to my mom during a very hard time. What I admired most about Dr. Singla was that he knew when enough was enough and the odds were not in my dad's favor. He saved my dad a lot of pain and was very straightforward with my mom.

He has a very good and approachable manner. My procedure was successful and I have been recovering well on day 13th since my surgery. I felt he was very compassionate in dealing with my treatment and other health issues. I was pleased with his staff. Impressed with the up to date equipment used. He brings a smile to my face.

Standard follow up.

Dr. Singla came in promptly and, knowing my heart issues, proceeded to discuss current lab results. He listened to my heart carefully and for some time. He then said I needed an appointment for an echocardiogram in one month. Dr. Singla is personable, friendly, and completely thorough during exams. He smiles and shakes my hand before he goes to his next patient. This leaves me grateful I have found a cardiologist with excellent abilities who is well trained, and knows the importance of the human touch. Christina

I made appointment to establish a doctor for caution as I was having chest discomfort. He got me in immediately and ran tests to ease my mind. It all checked out good as they were panic attacks which can mimic the same feeling as heart attacks. Very grateful for his gentle support.

I just changed from a doctor that I had for a long time to Dr. Singla. I am VERY pleased with him. He replaced a defective heart and and I am up and running. I am so thankful that he took me on as a new patient.

I am a relatively new patient of Dr. Singla. On my first visit, he instantly made me feel at ease; he answered all of my many question and took the time to explain my Aortic Stenosis. He explained all of my options for treatment. When I had an angiogram, he visited with me before and and after the procedure; he also did the same for my husband. He always wants the best for his patients. When I needed a TAVR procedure, he was a tremendous help in ordering all of necessary test and putting together all of the test results and discs. He assured me that he will take care of my Cardiac care. I am extremely thankful that Dr. Singla is my Cardiologist.

Best Doctor at Tulane!! He is very kind, and he really listens to you. He does not rush you out. Very grateful that he my doctor.

I had a complication Because he Put a catheter in my groin.This caused me to have a infected blood clot. He was rude and didn’t apologize

Dr. Singla is my cardiologist. He closed my PFO. I am a 34 year old, healthy female in the US Army. When I had my strokes I was mortified, so many questions, so much anger. Dr. Singla is not only an extremely talented cardiologist, whom I would trust my family with, he has outstanding bed side manner. He visited me often and limited my concerns before the procedure. He sat down and visited with my family. He is one of a kind. When I had follow up appointments, he was always on time, thorough, and courteous. He let me know what his future professional plans looked like and let me know how I could reach him via the VA if I had follow on needs.

I have Sickle Cell Anemia Disease and suffered a stroke. The Tulane ER doctor found that I had a hole in my heart. Dr Singla repaired my heart rather quickly, which I really appreciated. I was scared of having more strokes because of the hole but Dr. Singla and the entire staff (Ms. Theresa Mr. Harold) were so kind and so caring. Dr. Singla performed a very risky procedure on me. Before the procedure, there was very much concern about the possibility of success. The procedure was extremely successful and I feel great.
