Dr. Asna Amin, MD

I found Dr. Amins' office and it was the best thing that could've happened to me. Her and the staff have the best bedside manner. I have been through two surgeries with Dr. Amin and her staff. Both have been great(and successful) experiences. Dr. Amin listens, and addresses any questions or concerns in a caring manner. Wait times are short to none in the office, and the nurses always call you back if you call with a question or need medical advice. The front desk is excellent as well and generally can get someone on the phone immediately(they always call back the same day). Basically Dr. Amin is an outstanding doctor and she works with a wonderful group of people. The office is very clean as well. I would highly recommend her if you need a doctor for any of the conditions she treats. Shes very honest and caring!

wether it was her or her staff, I had a horrible experience. their mistake handling my insurance pre-approval led to them canceling my surgery date. I had moved weeks worth of obligations around for the recovery and they wasted consultation visits that will need to be made again before I can get the procedure. Needless to say, I’ll be getting it elsewhere (and maybe you should too)

Excellent. Listens patiently and explains clearly. Have had office visits and colonoscopy with her and highly recommend. She inspires confidence and care.

After wasting almost two years with an arrogant and mediocre practitioner named Pranat Kumar, I found Asna Amin to be a very welcome change. She has a genuinely patient-centered approach and humbly recognizes the shortcomings of this surgical field. Even still, Amin has thoughtfully customized a plan for managing my very complex case of chronic fistula. Unlike Kumar, she isn't just treating patients as financial opportunities by rushing them into the high-risk and low-success procedures. Beyond being a competent professional, she simply is a compassionate and wise person who understands that the patient--not the doctor--is the one who is suffering. My only complaint is that, like most U.S. surgeons, she doesn't seem to be active in helping to import far more intelligently developed methods for complex fistula treatment than anything currently available here; to be fair, the blame lies more with the legions of medical legislators who are mere accessories to the industry's interests.

I've never had a doctor who fills me with more confidence and comfort. I have a very delicate and painful condition, and Dr. Amin has always helped me through it - both physically and emotionally. I'm extremely grateful to have her as my doctor.
