Dr Azmath jaffry doesn't listen to her patient
She made me took medication for almost 2 complete years, though I don't even had anything she just told my husband some mental illness name (bipolar disorder) he thought he is treating me and why will such an 21 years experience Dr say anything wrong, she is our friend not our enemy, even my entire family thought I had that disorder but I didn't had anything, we stopped talking to her and stopped taking that medication, when I was taking that medication I was unable to eat, walk, even unable to take shower, I missed my regular menstrual cycle for almost 2 years, when ever I used to ask her when she will stopped me giving that medication she used to say me that I will become like earlier my question is how she knows that I will become like earlier what does that mean, I want to sue this Dr, otherwise it can't spoiled someone's life, because of her judgment I suffered for 2 complete years, I don't want anyone to face such kind of situation in their entire life, thanks

Dr. Jafry is a great doctor.
We have been seeing Dr. Jafry for about a year. She is always available to talk during our appointments. She is friendly, trustable, and always shows a great concern for her patients. I do recommend Dr. Jafry as one of the best doctors you can find.

she is a life saver
Doctor Jafry is very caring and professional. she doesn't give up on her patients. Doctor Jafry gave my friend his life back. She accomplished what other doctors couldn't. Without her he wouldn't be the independent and functioning person he is today. We are so thankful that we found her.

Dr. Jafry is one of the worst doctors I have ever worked with. I met her through Linden Oaks inpatient, where she clearly had no idea what was going on with me and barely remembered me daily. The day I asked to discharge from inpatient she handed me a business card for the IOP program (that she owns) and it honestly felt like she was making a deal with me that to discharge, I would attend her program. Of course, she didn’t explicitly say this. I was in need of a higher level of care than IOP and it was clear she either didn’t care or didn’t even realize, and she just wanted me to go to her IOP so she could continue to bill me. I ended up attending the IOP for a month after that and it was abundantly clear that the whole IOP she ran was just for money. I do not say that lightly, I understand psychiatry is a profession but when a doctor puts money before quality patient care it is truly a problem. Please, find another doctor. I promise, there are doctors who truly care about their patients, but Dr. Asmat Jafry is not one of them.

Being ignored and rushed
My first visit I showed up at the office and was told that Dr.Jafry had an emergency meeting that they weren't sure how long it would take. I ended up seeing the nurse practitioner there. My follow up visit was in-person with Dr.Jafry, and it lasted for 8 minutes. I was not aware that it would be that short. What made me more upset, however, was the fact that during the whole visit she was staring at her monitor typing notes. I didn't feel respected as a human being. She just kept asking me several questions as if she was rushed to go through a routine list of questions. Every time I was in the midst of answering, she would constantly finish my sentence or talk over me and ask me another question. She would also ask me questions that I had already answered minutes ago, which simply proves that she was not listening to me at all. It felt like I was talking to an AI and not having a conversation with a human. Definitely don't recommend if you're looking to have a human interaction.

Dr. Jafry has been taking care of my children for almost ten years. She truly understands exactly what they are going through. She always asks the right questions and makes them feel comfortable in sharing what they are going through or dealing with at their appointments. She is conservative in prescribing medication and when she does, she explains what the goal of the medicine is and how it will help. Dr. Jafry has such a calming presence, which makes you feel at ease in sharing your very personal thoughts with her. I say this at it is not easy for children to always feel comfortable speaking with physicians. But she has a special gift of asking the right questions, listening and most important not making them feel different. We are very lucky to have found her.

I recently went to this doctor as I suspected I was experiencing drug Toxicity due to the psych medications I was prescribed. As a psychiatrist I expected her to be knowledgeable on this subject. When I mentioned to her my neurological symptoms she laughed at me and instead inexcusably diagnosed me with a mental illness. She claimed that psych medications cannot cause neurological symptoms. In the weeks following her incompetence I had a battery of neurological tests. It was determined by a team of doctors that it was in fact the medications that caused my neurological symptoms. I am permanently disabled. This woman needs to go through extensive training on the adverse effects of psychotropic medications.

I have been with Dr. Jafry and her practice for nine years. She helped me through an intense eating disorder after I learned of my youngest daughter's terminal neuromuscular disease (and my lack of knowing how to properly cope), and then continued her amazing care while I've had 15 surgeries in the past 4.5 years, including a right leg amputation and total left knee replacement (all due to a foot surgery gone wrong, ultimately ending with a serious infection). Since I've been with Dr. Jafry, I've had so many highs and lows, and SHE has supported me EVERY STEP of the way (either with medications she knows would help, to having me meet on a regular basis with one her phenomenal therapists, Dan Michaels). Dr. Jafry has literally saved my life more than once, due to some tough cards our family has been dealt. As of now, three of our five family members go to her practice. Because of her expertise, I'm still alive. I am forever grateful for Dr. Jafry and her incredible team.

Our daughter has been seeing Dr Jafry for 9+ years and during her appt Dr Jafry gives us the time we need to talk through our problems and issues. She is all business and people may think she has a tough exterior but that is what our daughter needs + once you get to know her, you will see she is kind and cares about her patients. She's knowledgeable and we highly recommend her.

Doctor was very encouraging and knowledgable in her field. I do not understand why she has such bad reviews; she was great! She was very patient with me in the treatment process. Even during the COVID-19 lockdown I felt very comfortable doing the appointments online and I did not feel that her patient interaction changed at all. I am also a patient her IOP groups and I felt supported and encouraged in them. I would recommend!

I began seeing Dr. Jafry in 2017 for anxiety/bipolar depression. I would get anxiety when I knew I had to go into her office. I left Dr. Jafry's office feeling attacked and offended every single time. She continuously upped my medication dosage without listening to my concerns. Dr. Jafry has an incredibly rude demeanor and seems uninterested in helping you get better. I stopped seeing Dr. Jafry after one year. I currently have not been taking medications for the last 2 years and am doing better than ever. I am in the healthiest mental state ever and am about to graduate college (something of which Dr. Jafry told me would be hard for me to do). I would strongly advise anybody who needs professional help to go find another Dr as Dr. Jafry I believe can and will make things worse for someone with her lack of empathy.

Doctor Jafry does not have any tact or knowledge when speaking with her patients. She gives conflicting information from session to session which is confusing, disturbing, and sets back the progress that one has made. My child sees her and she said damaging words to her that made her relapse back into her disorder. Find another psychiatrist.
