No bedside manner or compassion. She was wrong in her treatment, thank god I got another opinion

Dr. Islam is understanding and patient. I have always had great experiences with her!

I neded blood work done. I asked ahead of time if I needed to fast. I was told no. Islam refused to do the blood work because I had not fasted. She said the nurse didn't talk to her first. That was the only explanation. When I confronted the nurse, I was told that Islam wanted a fasting test becasue I had not had testing in awhile. I don't trust the people in this office. I would not recommend the doctor or the staff

Dr Islam is arrogant, curt and dismissive. If you have a heart attack on a airplane and she’s the only md on board, then yes — otherwise choose a more knowledgeable and compassionate clinician, basically available anywhere.

Dr. Asma Islam kept moving from one medical practice to another. Over the 18 months I had her as my doctor she moved from 3 places. She had me traveling all around MA. Then one day without warning she just up and moved to Virginia. I was never told. But why does she move around so much? Once I asked her and she said she never likes the people or place she is working. I don't want a doctor like this. At my last appt she said she finally found a place she liked. 1 mo. Later she was gone AGAIN!

I seen Dr Islam on 3/4/16 because my dr was off. When I was in the room with her medical assistant the dr knocked on the door. The medical assistant excused herself from the room and I could hear dr Islam yelling at her through the door. I could hear her yelling and saying she is already behind and now only has 15 minutes to do a physical on another patient. I have never felt so uncomfortable in my life at a dr office. The dr came in the room never introduced herself and had me out in 5 minutes
