Dr. Asma Hashmi, MD

I normally don't leave bad reviews, but mental health is important. I agree with the other people that have left bad reviews. Dr. Hashmi rushed the session and she was a few minutes late. At the end she did not put in the order for my labwork, even though she said that she would, so we do not know if the lithium is the right dosage or if it is affecting my kidneys. I did not have a pleasant session with her. She needs to slow down and listen to patients in a calm way.

Dr. Hashmi is late to every single appointment by at least 15 minutes, and then proceeds to act bored and unengaged every time I speak. She doesn’t listen or seem to care about her patients. She prescribes potentially dangerous medication completely recklessly and without any care for her patients’ backgrounds. She never asked for blood tests or health screenings for my safety, and didn’t listen to my concerns regarding this. I had 0 confidence in anything she told me to take. Every doctor I’ve consulted for a second opinion has been appalled by her recommendations. I cannot emphasize enough that you should find another provider.

The front desk service was friendly, but this doctor does not respect the patient and has no patience. She is very rude. Don't choose her, it will only make you feel worse.

Super rude front desk staff and Dr.Hashmi is dismissive and condescending. I was rushed through appointments and she was always late. My concerns and questions weren’t heard out and I was given one option for anxiety medications and there was zero consideration for other options. When I asked for alternatives I was told to seek out another provider.
