Dr. Asif Mohamed, MD

I have had a couple visits with Dr. Mohamed. Both times, I was checked in right away, and I had minimal wait time to be seen by the doctor. The front desk staff are friendly, kind and efficient. (I've left practices with rude front desk staff. Its unfortunately common.) When I spoke with Dr. Mohamed, he was very personable, friendly and also caring. He determined that I had resolved my endocrine issue with diet and exercise, and he said I didn't need to see him again--- and he seemed PLEASED by this. He was losing a patient, losing money, but he was happy for me, because he cared about my health. That kind of doc is one to cherish. I will recommend Dr. Mohamed and if I ever need such help again, I will return here.

I am so fortunate to find Dr. Mohamed for my endocrine care. He is so thorough, personable, and so kind. He explains everything so it’s easy to understand. He also takes so much time before the appointment to review your history, so he is well prepared. I highly recommend him for your care.

Not a good experience. This doctor didn’t perform a physical exam or look closely at my labs which are both really important aspects of a routine endocrinology appointment. I originally sought this doctor out because he is board certified in endocrinology, but I was disappointed. I’m a young physician myself so I clearly noticed he was cutting corners. I won’t be going back.

I was diagnosed with uterine cancer in Feb 2019. Complete hysterectomy ASAP. But after a PET scan a PHEO tumor was discovered on my Adrenal gland. Uterine surgery could not be performed unless PHEO tumor was controlled. I was fortunate to find Dr Mohammed who was able to see me immediately. He consulted with surgeons with the Mercy as well as Drs at Mayo Clinic. He worked diligently to safely prepare me for surgery. He always took the time to explain everything and made me feel confident. He is, not only a great doctor, but a kind and wonderful person. I highly recommend him. I had gone to other endocrinologists because I am diabetic, but they could not compare to him. I will remain under his care. Thank you Dr Mohammed.

Dr. Mohamed is wonderful!! He has been able to get my A1C down in just a matter of a couple of visits. I've had Diabetes for over 15 years and no other physician has been able to do this. I highly recommend D. Mohamed

Dr. Mohamed performed 3 thyroid biopsies on me and I was nervous about the procedure, however, all that worry was for nothing! Dr. Mohamed was professional, but at the same time, was calming, reassuring, kind and funny. He put me completely at ease, talked to me throughout the entire procedure to let me know what he was doing and what to expect. I am scheduled for another round of biopsies later in the year and I have absolutely no worries - - thanks to Dr. Mohamed.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mohamed since late 2017. I am very pleased with him as he is very knowledgable, listens well, and is genuinely concerned about my health. I know quality medical care as I am a veterinarian and I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Mohamed to family and friends.

I had my first office visit with Dr. Mohamed today and I found him to be very professional, thorough and kind. I feel he is absolutely trying to find the correct diagnosis for me and is leaving no stone unturned in order to do so. I was very impressed by the amount of time he spent with me and the fact that he actually really seemed to listen. I guess I am somewhat qualified to say this because, unfortunately, I have seem many doctors where the aforementioned was not the case. Nice staff!
