On the whole, an above average doctor.
He does seem to push meds. But tolerates pushback/refusal. Treated by him for 10+/- years. Carps at me for smoking, which he is supposed to. Will listen and allow for lifestyle changes over meds. Had hiatal hernia and ulcer treatment (3 day hospital stay from no detectable blood pressure from bleed), he was responsive and explained all avenues available. NO surgery or maintenance meds (did recommend though) after. Am on a 10mg blood pressure med after trying to reduce with no luck. Success so far. 60 yr old male on 1 scrip

I was given over 500 NARCOTICS PER MONTH BY THIS DOCTOR. Well, I am still alive thanks to another Doctor. Because I asked for help from this Doctor I have now been banned from ALL DOCTORS in the McLaren system and absolutely banned from all hospital services. I was over treated and mis-treated. My case is now in the hands of the L.A.R.A. our states regulatory system. Think twice. David

Dr. Vashishta takes care of me and most of my family. We are very happy with him. I feel he listens to me. My BP is finally under control. I feel safe with him.

If you want your aging parent to live a better life, keep them away from this hack! Overdoses dangerous prescription drugs. He's not interested in keeping patients alive! He works with McLaren to lower costs...e.g....poorer quality care.
