It’s been over a year since my surgery and I never had a chance to leave a review. From the moment I walked into Dr. Shaha’s office I knew I would have my surgery with him! His office staff was knowledgeable and compassionate and Dr. Shaha was extremely informative and comforting... including some humor which was much appreciated. My surgery went as expected and I was back up and about in a few weeks. Dr. Shaha is also meticulous when it comes to stitches and a year after no one even notices my scar... myself included! I 100% recommend Dr. Shaha and MSK!

I was completely gutted by this man for no legitimate reason. He removed my entire thyroid and "accidentally" removed 2 parathyroid. Because of his medical mistake I am now in a permanent state of being hypoparathyroid. All of this was over a 6MM FULLY encapsulated extremely indolent papillary thyroid nodule that roughly 33% or more of all humans have. I WAS a very healthy person before he "operated" on me. He has very serious communication issues. No apology, no remorse; ego, STATS, prestige,$

My total thyroidectomy resulted in destroyed parathyroid glands which affects my production of calcium for life. And what is worst: a paralyzed vocal chord. Both issues he never acknowledge. Terrible experience with consequences for life.
