Unprofessional
I took my 88 year old mother for severe pain in neck area, eventually by 2nd visit she was sent to get a nerve block and was given in lower spine area. When I questioned why no one could tell me finally Dr. Parmar admitted a mistake. I saw all Drs. there, trying to see which would be most helpful to my mother and all of the male Drs there are so dismissive. They just want to give you the drugs and have you leave. They dont want you questioning their plan for the patient. I'm sorry but not everyone is there to just get narcotics!! I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Do not use
Everybody is treated like a drug addict. I’m a former marine I’m 45 first time I’ve been hurt the attitude I received from him and his doctors being told to shut up they don’t ever believe that you were actually hurt or they just assume you’re like everyone else when your job is totally different. I will never use this guy again. I will never use the urgent care across the street from his facility on Brimhall because it is the same thing there. The office manager never answers the phone and avoids calls at all I haven’t been able to get a hold of her in three months

To the Q St Office Manager
I am a new patient. I went to the Q St. location for my first visit and so far only visit. Filled out all the paperwork required. Gave a copy of my meds to young lady at reception/front counter. She copied it and gave back to me. Met with doctors assistant. That went well. We discussed my needs and he prescribed me a new non-narcotic medicine. That’s where the good part ends. The office staff never called the script in. I called my pharmacy told no new script. Call office back. To be told I never gave them a copy of my meds and no prescription was given to me. How I failed to provide a urine test when I was never asked for one during that initial visit. Told me she needed to talk to doctor. I asked her for a call back. I had to call the girl and ask her why she never returned my call. I asked could I speak to the office manager and that same girl hung up on me. Then no one would answer the phone after attempting to call back several times. Disrespectful, and very rude too

Unhappy New Patient – Feb 06, 2023

Never
I tried to ask a question, but dr. Parma cut me off immediately and accused me of just wanting more pain pills. He laughed at me and stormed out of my office visit. He left me in the office by myself and didn't say a word (laughing) I never got to ask a single question in all my fast office visits with Dr. Parma about my pain. Bad doctor don't use him.

I have been a patient with dr Parmar for 17 years. In the beginning had no problems. Then throughout the years as he got a lot more patients. You started to feel as though you were less important to him. And now it feels like a cattle call in and out in minutes. And he was very rude and caused me great physical pain so I stopped seeing him.

DON'T GO HERE... I had NOTHING but problems being seen here. Excessive wait times in office, but the worst of ALL was being accused of having a positive drug test despite having proof otherwise. Funny they waited SEVERAL months to tell me but kept taking my insurance's money. I got a new pain doctor and low and behold she dismisses me w/o reason but my guess is because Dr. Parmar or his staff. Ended up reporting him to the medical board as a result. I live with pain DAILY now.

I have been a patient for 6 years. I am in worse shape then when I started. The last epiderl I got in my back has caused injury to my left side, which is where the Dr. Injected me. I would have changed providers multiple times but he kept a rotation of PA's unfortunately they didn't stay long and it was rare to see the same one consecutively. The front desk is ridiculous. My last appt. She made me wait 15 minutes to make a returning visit. I went outside and called my appointment in.

I have been seeing Dr Parmar for a little over 2 years. After a rough start, things have become excellent for me. The government has made any kind of pain control extremely difficult, you need someone to help navigate all the rules and laws involved, for me,Dr Parmar has been able to fill that roll effectively. I've had problems getting prescription filled, but mostly due to insurance practices, not due to Dr Parmar fine. He is in the difficult position of balancing patient needs with Federal regula

This is a very sad state of affairs when a Doctor who took an oath to do no harm!!!!!!!! treats his patients like he does. So unprofessional . Just read all his reviews- I would be so embarrassed if people wrote things like that about me. He could not care less nor could his staff. I am a Registered Nurse and I have never seen anything like this in my 20 plus year career. Very scary. He charted that he did procedures on me and I never even saw him.

This office just continues to surprise me and not in a good way. Every month there are issues with filling meds I need and this month takes the cake. The office called and rescheduled my last appointment to the 27th of may. Well my meds are due on may 3 but the doctor won't fill my meds because he wants to see me first. So basically three weeks without medication. They don't care about pain management Or their patients. I'm looking for another doctor. This is the last straw for me. Over it.

I was told by Dr Parmars staff I needed a new referral to continue care. My primary elected to have me not return due to the treatment I was given by Parmar and his staff. I told the receptionist I would not be returning. They ordered meds for me anyway and sent me to collections because the insurance refused to pay since I had rec'd a refill at another facility. They also charged me a no show fee after telling me I needed a referral to return! Is a no star possible?

This doctor is exceptionally unprofessional. Dr. Parmar yells at his patients and patients spouses when he and his office staff repeatedly fail to fill out paperwork correctly to have his prescriptions approved by insurance companies. He is rude, arrogant and then defensive and threatens to refuse patient care. He does not take a full patient history, has no interest in working with insurance to have medications approved. As a medical professional this behavior is unacceptable, please avoid him.

I initially saw Dr. Paxton, who was really great. But he left on a family leave and I had several visits with Dr. Parmar who was NOT so great. This last few times he was impatient, condescending, and instead of increasing medication due to more pain, he decreased it and did not communicate to me why. And the staff gave me the run around, and was unbearably rude. The staff is really awful, especially over the phone. They are so rude and not helpful at all, especially for questions or refills.

My mom is a patient there, she has had two back surgeries and is about to go in for a third due to broken rods in her back. She also has drop foot and nerve damage in her legs. It is near impossible to Dr. Parmar to understand and empathize with her. He messes with her medicine, when my mom asked for an increased, he actually DECREASED it. The times I'm there he demeans her pain, saying most of it is in her head. Everyone else can see her pain, except him. Would NOT recommend him.
