Dr. Ashna Wadhawan, MD

I like Dr. Wadhawan very much. I bring in a list of concerns and she'll go down the list with me addressi g each one. She explains things very well and is knowledgeable in her practice. She is focused when she's in the room so I could see how some people might think she's not personable or rude, but I've never had a bad experience with her. I wou bring family members to her for care.

Doesn't explain anything and gets angry when you ask questions. Belittling and disrespectful when talking to me. Wouldn't add diagnosis from other specialty providers. Berated me at last appointment and angrily said why don't you have any expression on your face. I've been on a waitlist for evaluation of autism, which I told her about at my first appointment. She had told me you can talk and answer questions so you don't have it and acted like I was ridiculous. She also has some kind of problem with women that have short hair and has made several comments about my haircut being strange. When I said I would start looking for another provider I was retaliated against. I was supposed to still receive care for 30 days after that but they have refused to refill my prescriptions.

Dr Ashna Washawan is the best primary physician I have ever had. Besides listening, explaining clearly, and not rushing, she knows how to care for her patients.

The doctor displays good manners, but her medical practice leaves much to be desired. She prescribes medications without discussing potential side effects and documents procedures that she doesn’t perform. Unfortunately, her approach does not reflect the standards of a competent physician.
