Dr. Ashmi Ullal, MD

Extremely arrogant doctor who does not take concerns of patients or their family seriously. She does what she wants, regardless of the potential consequences and behaves like a child. Our mother almost died as a result of Dr. Ullal recommending a biopsy while mom was in the hospital being treated for severe bacterial pneumonia and on her third round of antibiotics. Her scare tactics were appalling, such as "I pulled a lot of strings to get you this appointment so if you don't want it, just tell me now, there are a lot of people waiting to get an appointment like this and if you don't take it, it will be a very long time before you get in." Down right self righteous. If you are considering this doctor, I beg you to go elsewhere!

Dr. Ullal was amazing - she took the time to listen and validate my concerns. I felt heard and supported and was comfortable during my entire visit. I'm very happy to have found a new Doctor that I plan to go to for a very long time. Definitely recommend.

First (and last) visit with Dr. Ullal. Seems more like a student that just graduated and needs more experience interacting with people. Poor 'bedside' manner, countered my questions with questions - e.g. Me: Why am I so tired? Response: Do you consume alcohol... do you smoke... No to both questions, but no answer as to how I might resolve my problem. Seemed very unconcerned with my questions.
