4 months ago-Edit I had a HORRIBLE experience here! To begin with, this was my first procedure of this type and I had asked the receptionist repeatedly when making the appointment if my procedure was going to occur during the initial visit. I was told that it wouldn’t occur until the second visit, and the first visit was a consultation. That ended up not being the case. Dr. Stewart should have rescheduled the procedure, especially knowing what I had been told and how uncomfortable I was. I guess she didn't want to sacrifice her time and money by waiting. A word of caution: prepare yourself to be examined and potentially have to undergo invasive procedures, even if told otherwise when you schedule your appointment. Also, there was a lack of follow-up care. During my follow-up appt. a week later I wasn't examined to see how I was healing. When my PCP examined me two days after my follow-up appointment with Dr. Stewart, he was VERY concerned about how bruised I was.

Great Dr. Having surgery during the Covid-19 pandemic, was very lonley, and scarey... She eased my mind and was very attentative, and comforting... I have chosen to keep her as my general surgeon when needed... I lost my dad in 2009 after having hernia surgery, so I was a bit apprehensive... she is amazing...
