Curt and disrespectful...just what a new mom needs
Saw Dr. Dayal while my son was still a newborn. I was recovering from an emergency C-section and exclusively breastfeeding, and she was assigned to be my ob-gyn. When I came in to see her for my first outpatient visit, I was still bleeding and exhausted and struggling. She was late, then walked in while I was breastfeeding and rushed me back onto the exam table naked. I felt so exposed and embarrassed--and I was 42 at the time, not a young or naive girl, but it still feels so embarrassing to have a breast out, husband in the room, and be asked to spread your legs for an exam with baby attached. All in all, she treated me with such disrespect, I saved this review for when we left NYC, to avoid retribution. The staff in her office is its own problem, but putting them aside, avoid this doctor at all costs: she is the worst ob-gyn I have ever seen, and at my big age, that's saying something.
