Dr. Sahai has performed 3 orthopedic surgeries on me with stellar results. My husband and sister are using him as well.

CROOKS!CROOKS! OVERCHARGED ME NOW WON'T REFUND ME
Overcharged me nearly $1000.00 in April of 2023! After my many attempts to get refunded, Stephanie won't call me back- I can see Medical board complaints and many Better Business Bureau has the practice with a grade of 'F', with many, many complaints on this practice, physicians and staff. CROOKS!!! Steer clear these guys are bad!Witnessed MD in the practice extremely overly friendly and 'handsy' with staff- SICK!!! Staff are young and I saw they were very uncomfortable. Really a sick, bad place.

Amazing Doctor and Staff
We are very fortunate to have Dr. Sahai as our doctor! We have been a patient of his for 8 plus years! He is amazing in his knowledge of all aspects of nerves and skeletal portions of the body! His staff in Deerfield is quick to get you in for appointments, kind and friendly. You have the luxury of having your MRI ‘s done on site. What always amazes us is the time and attention he spends with us and how he is sensitive to the pain issues and tries all avenues to reach relief. He has totally impressed us this past weekend when I called the office knowing it was closed and he responded back to us within 5 mins told us to go directly to ER and have them call him. He worked on the phone with ER all day to reach the relief that was needed for the weekend and had us in his office on Monday morning! That is service! That is a doctor that cares! Dr. Sahai is a true blessing and we are fortunate to tell everyone he is OUR doctor! Thank you Dr. Sahai for caring so much and your great staff!

BEWARE
On March 28, 2022, I underwent a laminectomy at Boca Outpatient performed by Dr. Sahai. Post-surgery, complications arose, leading to severe pain and headaches. Dr. Sahai's response involved multiple procedures, including a spinal fusion and dural repair. Despite ongoing issues and fluid leaks, Dr. Sahai remained uncommunicative, leaving my family uninformed. The third surgery, where I reluctantly signed undisclosed documents, resulted in extended anesthesia, drain failures, and a medically induced coma. Dr. Sahai's actions and lack of transparency caused enduring physical and emotional trauma. Discharged after 36 days, I emerged from a nightmare involving six operations and a medically induced coma.

Seriously Wonderful
After nine weeks of being treated by another provider with no improvement for two herniated discs, I was lucky to find Dr.Sahai and his amazing staff. They were polite, caring and thorough. The Deerfield office is up to date and spotless. Dr. Sahai explained more to me about my back issues than any other doctor had. He gave me a trigger injection to help alleviate the pain immediately. I scheduled another injection for a week away for an even better result. I cannot imagine having a more positive experience from booking the appointment to the actual visit. Highly recommend!

Dr. Sahai is wonderful provider who had completely changed my life after doing my back surgery. I was in chronic pain and miserable before I met with him. Him and his team is very professional. Ignore the bad reviews, he is a great doctor.

Double Billing & Selling Surgery
Dr Sahai’s office billed me $ 248 ( as a patient without insurance, even though they had my Cigna insurance card ) and billed me again through my Cigna Insurance ( $114) as “ in network”. They refuse to reimburse the first payment of $ 248. But worse then that: Dr Sahai let me know that I have to have disc replacement surgery because of collapsed vertabrae. I asked for 2nd opinion ( a Neuro Surgeon and another Spine surgeon)) - both told me “ absolutely NO SURGERY necessary”. There is nothing collapsing. After 14 sessions with physio I am pain free. Profit above everything.

Dr. Sahai is the most competent and most compassionate orthopedic surgeon I have ever been to, and I have been to many - in NY, CA, NH and FL. He is up to date on the newest developments in spinal surgeries and after two surgeries for different issues, I recommend him most highly.

Going to this office in Boca was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a doctor. His office staff is unfriendly and disorganized; the emails sent after making appointments often had the wrong days and times. Dr. Sahai saw me once and immediately suggested surgery after viewing an X-ray. He provided no alternative, non-invasive treatments to begin but suggested spinal injections before the surgery. On the second visit after my MRI, he was nowhere to be seen - he canceled our appointment - and another, Junior doctor read the MRI. In the Deerfield office for the injections I was seen by a doctor who had no social or patient skills. He stated that the MRI had been read incorrectly by the Junior doctor and had to change the procedure. This doctor was brash, insensitive and in my opinion, appeared somewhat manic by racing through the MRI report, insisting that I needed surgery immediately, refusing to discuss his professional background after I had asked, and roughly giving

Dr Sahai was very knowledgeable. He knew a had a torn rotator cuff without a MRI and I also had 4 herniated disc. I received a PRP for the tear which has helped and surgery for the disc. I wished I hadn’t waited so long to ok the surgery but I was afraid. The surgery wasn’t as bad as I thought The 3 months of horrible pain I had before the surgery was worse than the surgery. I was so happy with the outcome. Dr Sahai was great! Thank you.

I noticed the negatives from the other reviews on this visit. Dr.Sahai did rather quickly decide on surgery. I have more misgivings sufficient enough to need a second opinion. Dr. Sahai 1 hr 15 mins late. From their own paperwork, seems seeing patients on time is a problem. I’m concerned my surgery might be rushed trying to make it to office hours due to a lack in time management skills. Given several pages of legalese. Had difficulty concentrating on them with Maude playing too loud on the TV. After asking twice for the volume to be lowered, I completed the rest outside. Was told, not once, but 3 times I had returned the papers in the incorrect order. Asked for sanitizer but Letisha said no sanitizer for patients, staff only. Directed to the toilet for hand washing. Exam room 5 had sanitizer, maybe thats for staff only, I used it anyway. The room wall and toilet could use a paint job. Overall, between the staff, office and physician, I’m disappointed, underwhelmed and frustrated.

In my opinion, Dr. Ashish Sahai unfortunately exemplifies the worst in what a medical doctor is capable of when a lack of moral compass and greed overtakes the fiduciary obligation to the patient.  Back in December of 2019, I walked into an office that was shared by Dr. Sahai and other physicians to get a professional opinion on a herniated disc that had recently resulted in a reduction of strength in my left arm.   After filling out various forms and paperwork, I was asked to pay my co-pay up front, which in my case was $252 dollars given I participate in a high deductible HSA . I felt paying up front was rather odd, but found out later the strategy behind the process.  I remained in the waiting room for about 75 minutes until my name was called where I then proceeded to have X-rays done. Upon meeting Dr. Sahai, he had a pleasant demeanor that looked very convincing and approachable. He then inserted an MRI disc I had done recently into a computer to review the readings.  After about

Save your time and money walk in 1000 and up.yes! Seriously. Drug test bills that wasn't preformed i had no siliva swab taken nor urine drop off and got a bill for everything you could imagine. How this is possible!? :( well it is in his office. Run! Trust the reviews you are reading because they're not lies out of anger but hurt of being taking advantage of! This Sahai comes to the office as he was on something not responsive not going through your MRI or Xrays with you. Miss diagnos you since he do not look at your results and don't listen to you. Leaves the room in under 2 min if so...like your a just a $$$number...and bills your insurance for everything possible. That's what it is NO EXAGGERATION. This is one of the places that just want to peel off your insurance as much possible and nothing do helping you with your health. You can do better than this... I had learned to be more cautious.

Very disorganized and chaotic. Here is your patient experience. 1) Wait for Front Desk 2) Wait in uncomfortable chairs for what feels like forever 3) Your name gets called and you are rushed into a room. 4) Wait in Silence 5) Nurse comes in as though she has 10 seconds to record the purpose of your visit. 6) Wait in Silence 7) Doctor asks a few questions and you feel like you have to be quick. 8) Out the door you go. Received a billing error and can't get anyone from billing department to return call. Front desk wont give me a direct number.
