Dr. Ashish Dhungel, MD

Wonderful physician! Professional, very knowledgeable, kind, gentle, explains everything, and was the only doctor in the area that understands LPHS (loin pain hematuria syndrome). Has been my doctor for five years and I have referred several patients to him.

I attended an appointment with a patient (as her RN Navigator) and had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Dhungel. He was extremely kind and patient, took the time to explain things to the patient in a way she would understand. He seems to genuinely care about his patients, and has a compassionate and non judgmental bedside manner. Not all patients are easy or compliant, but he provided excellent care like it was his own family member he was caring for. Highly recommend.

Dr. Dhungel is an excellent doctor. He spent more time with me than any other Dr. ever has. He was especially reassuring and explained what my test results from another Dr. indicated. His nurse took note of every single medication, vitamin, and supplement I was taking. He discussed my diet, including the high protein shakes I use to help with weight loss. He decided to retest my bloodwork since I was dehydrated for the original reason I was referred to him. All staff are exceptionally kind.

Wish I could write a review but I've never met the man. In Feb, I made an appt with his office for 4/4 at 10 am. About 2 weeks later, they called asking if I could change times to 3 pm and I happily agreed. Today, less than 90 minutes before my appt, they called to see if I would reschedule. I told them that I would only reschedule if he could see me one day this week (I'm a teacher & on Spring Break) & was told that would be impossible because he is in the PTC office so infrequently.

Dr. Dhungel likes to take his time to explain and collaborate rather than dictate. He works well with family caregivers. I would recommend him to anyone needing services within his specialties. My dad's last visit, the only problem I had was the patience of the medical assistant prior to meeting with Dr. Dhungel. She was short, lacked empathy and bordered on rude. Front desk personnel is wonderful.

Dr. Dhungel was very detailed in his explanation of the treatment, and I didn't feeled rushed or dismissed while he was explaining the treatment. Very approachable and listened to concerns and questions, versus providing his command and that would be it! I was very pleased with the doctor and his services.
