Dr. Aryeh Baer, MD

We had an excellent experience with Dr. Baer. My teen saw him last May 2023 with confusing, persistent and disconcerting symptoms. We were unsure about Lyme and the ER and GP's had speculated everything from Lyme to Mono to Meningitis. Dr. Baer spent 2.5 hours with us at our initial visit and his bedside manner was exceptional. My child felt comfortable with him, he explained everything in terms we could understand and he got us the tests we needed asap. I cannot thank him enough for how quickly he got to the bottom of what was happening, for his compassion and for his follow up and communication. Our experience with him exceeded that of any physician we have ever received care from. I'm sure his reputation precedes him, but as I logged on here tonight to research a different doctor, I felt compelled to share our experience to hopefully put someone else's mind to rest.

Dr. Baer was AMAZING!!! Not only was he kind and patient, he empathized with our every worry and concern. He went to great lengths to explain the reasons for every step he took throughout our newborn daughter's stay in Hackensack Hospital. He even spent close to 45 minutes one day by her bedside, answering all our questions! On top of all that, his medical knowledge goes above and beyond! He is as bright as he is kind, and as intelligent as he is cautious/responsible! He had an excellent understanding of the cause, nature, and background of her condition, and chose the appropriate medication based on his wellsprings of successful experiences. What else can you ask for in a Doctor?!?!

My daughter and I met with Dr. Baer after I removed nine ticks from her. He was patient, caring, responsive with the proper amount of caution. He took the time to answer questions from both my daughter and I. He made my daughter and I feel at ease during a rather stressful period.

My son received blood work with possible markers for Lyme Disease . . . Dr. Baer spent over an hour with us reviewing medical history, symptoms and course of treatment. I could not have asked for a more thorough and knowledgeable doctor. When your child is ill, you want someone who will listen to your concerns and advise the best possible treatment and diagnostic plan. Dr. Baer is definitely that specialist -- he was compassionate, patient and kind. I would recommend him highly. A+++

I found Dr. Baer through my insurance company. I pulled a tick off of my son's back last summer. He hasn't been acting normal so he had a LYME blood culture done at Advanced Laboratories. Dr. Baer, would not even look at my son nor examine him, saying the test is not FDA approved ....my son has excessive night sweats , joint and knee pain, fevers, trouble concentrating, fatigue and the list goes on. However, he dismissed us and treated us very poorly without compassion!
