Love the doctor the times I was treated by him. But his office staff is totally disorganized. There is total lack of communication, coordination and documentation resulting in errors. An example is that twice after being treated with antibiotics for an infection, I was called weeks later to say the doctor reviewed my blood work and I had an infection and needed antibiotics, the same infection I had already been treated for and which the doctor via a phone appt had stated the infection was gone. Have several other examples. Will oswitch doctors because of this.

I had a fine experience with Dr. Salwan and his staff, I am surprised at the negative reviews as I feel like I went to a different doctor. Dr. Salwan was very attentive, listened to me and seemed to genuinely care about my concerns. My wait time was minimal, the front desk and inside assistants were great. They set up a pharmacy for me as I am new to the high desert, set my return appointment for followup and scheduled my labs. All seemed very efficient.

I really don’t think this Dr is organized and he lets his staff treat his patients like trash. I’m not too sure why he keeps his front office girls around. They don’t do anything they are supposed too. I checked into this Dr background and I can see why.

This office staff has to be the most inept low IQ group of people I have ever met in my life. Kristina cannot do her job. I suggest this Dr gets rid of this staff if he wants to keep his patients. Iam not even a patient at this office and just from my interactions alone with them I can see how horrible they are. Not refilling RX, not signing time sensitive documents, they keep patients waiting. Do not go to this Dr. this is your warning!

BRILLIANT!!! The entire family has been with Dr. Arvind Salwan, MD for about 13 years--LOVE him!!! Kind, caring, easy to speak with, relatable, accurate, reliable, professional and SMART! Appointments may NOT always be on time but he is worth the wait--can NOT recommend him more highly!!! Staff on the other hand--GREAT in person but only return about 10% of calls.

An Fairly good primary care doctor. Some of his staff are clueless. Other members of his staff are fairly. Most patients need to see primarily nurse practitioners. Dr Salwan Traci’s best unless he doesn’t have the best staff & NP to back him up.

Dr. Salwan as well as his NP, Deborah Freeman are amazing! They are both caring, professional, knowledgeable, and completely understandable. They make comprehensive notes that they consistently refer back to in order to not lose track of previous treatments and tests. Both of them explain technical medical terms in sensible terms without being patronizing. They are seldom wrong in their first diagnoses of multiple, complex issues with the same patient. They discuss treatment options, giving their recommendations as well as why they recommend what they do. They will accept the patient's choice of treatment option if different from their choice. In the 5+ years that my husband has been their patient, neither of them has steered him wrong. They listen closely, ask pertinent questions, and offer their "opinions" confidently, without arrogance. Both Dr. Salwan and Deborah Freeman are credits to the medical profession as a whole. Fully confident in both!

I have been Dr Salwan's patient for 2 years. I would leave a review about HIM but I have never seen him, always the NP. When I asked to see him I was told 2-3 mnths. I have some health issues and couldn't wait 2-3 mths so am always either seeing NP or a specialist. I now need to make an appt and have been trying to contact the office for almost 2 months. The office never answers phone! I have tried every time of the day and same. I have left numerous messages and no call back. Very frustrating since I need prescription refill.

just saw his NP Deborah for lingering 2 1/2 week cough treated with antibiotics for 10 days, that has developed into severe rib cage pain on left with coughing, movement, breathing, etc X4days. His NP Deborah ordered STAT xray (after I requested it STAT) then tells me no antibiotics until xray and then follow up in a week. What? No I told her I will follow up tomorrow!! I could be dead in a week. Dangerous practicing here...do not feel confident in NP Deborah at all.

Staff is nice. Dr. Salwan AND his PA/NP are excellent. BUT ... IT IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH THE OFFICE BY PHONE. NO ONE ANSWERS. MACHINES TAKE MESSAGES FOR CALLS THAT ARE NEVER RETURNED. We have to drive to Hesperia from Apple Valley to simply make an appointment! We saw on my husband's last lab report that he may have an infectious disease! I tried to call to follow up. NOTHING!!!! UNCONSCIONABLE!!!!!!

If you are admitted, tge time soent duscussing care is very short, diesnt return nurses calls regarding orders in a timely fashion, impossible to get an appointment in a timely fashion after hospital admission. If you are healthy he takes good care of you. Once you get sick and hospitalized he acts like he's doing you a favor to come see you and that visit is very short, no questions answered, just walks away. Cant get an appointment less than 3 months out. Office rude, uncaring.

As long as you aren't sick and in need of medical attention or be admitted to the hospital, this Dr. can take care of your medical needs. But as soon as you need more attention, he's unavailable. My family members, senior citizens liked him until they took ill and became hospitalized. Dr. Salwan doesn't return phone calls regarding their status, (I am the MPOAH), bedside visits are 3 min max. Cant make follow up appts for 3-4 months, if you're ill find another Dr.he doesn't like sick patients.

Dr. Salwan is knowledgeable, compassionate, and bright. HIs office is a hot mess! He hires externs so his staff turnover is constantly changing, staff doesn't return phone calls. medications don't get called in, prior authorizations aren't done, referrals take too long and my records indicate illnesses I don't have, i.e., congestive heart failure. atherosclerosis of aorta, etc. His office is unprofessional bordering on dangerous. Other doctors in High Desert are worse if you have an HMO.

Dr. Salwan, is a nice man and a good Dr. However that becomes mute as soon as his orders are passed on to his extremely incompetent staff. My insurance is an hmo so I haven't a choice as to where I get to go. I can tell you without exaggeration that you will receive better care from a kindergarten classroom. Children would definitely care for you and give you more attention than his ridiculous horrible immature staff. As a doctor with a reputation to protect you would think he would hire compete
