Rude staff
I called 2 times and left a detailed messages and no call back. I called 2 more times and finally got someone and she said they got 1 of my messages, did not understand it and she passed it off that since she did not understand my message, she did not have to call me back. Rude. Impossible to get someone from the office.

Crappy patient support
I never got a chance to visit this clinic. I had a referral from my primary care provider with them and it took me weeks to get hold of the nursing staff to set up an appointment. I called as soon as they opened and they hung up my call without even bothering to speak to me (THREE TIMES!) When someone finally picked up, they said they couldn't find my referral and would research my contact information and call me back. After struggling to finally get hold of a someone they treated me as though I didn't matter (because it's Monday morning and they just opened their office - was the excuse they told me). I called my primary provider and requested a new referral.

I wish I had never heard of this doctor. He is not at all helpful, just "doom and gloom." He orders tests that are unnecessary and has no follow-up as to what the tests showed. Maybe he knows why he ordered them, but it's a mystery to the patient who has to pay for expensive, "necessary" tests that insurance won't cover. Do not go to this "professional."

Does Not Listen - Ignores Women
Visited Dr Kumar with my wife. He came in and already had all the answers. Would not listen to symptoms and got mad when we asked questions. When he explained things, he spoke to me and ignored my wife entirely. We are looking for a new neurologist.

Poor Communication Skills
The office never called us back after leaving 3 messages, did not provide test results, nor refilled prescriptions. Hard on patients needing care.

Dr. was abrupt and rude with interactions with Parkinson's patient. Spoke fast with complicated terms and was condescending. Office staff couldn't operate the fax machine to send medical records. Dr. blocked a surgery due to requiring a pre-screen visit and then staff couldn't send medical records to allow surgery to move forward. Refused to give medical summary to medical POA over the phone.

Totally inefficient office. Problems scheduling testing, followup, wouldn't communicate with pharmacy when script couldn't be filled as written. You will see a lot of negative comments here - believe them!

Office staff is very unprofessional, rude, and worst of all does not recognize that a dementia patient should be treated with compassion. Employees set the example for the doctor.

Dr Kumar is an excellent diagnostician.....very knowledgeable. If it’s important to you to find someone to hug...he may not be for you. However, if you are looking for an excellent neurologist, he is the man I recommend. He treated my husband for several years and was always on top of things.

Uneducated office staff, goes by the name of China, who can't properly send a referral for tests and actually asks me to call for my own referrals which should be her job. She even lied to me and said the referral was received by someone. I called the place and they said they don't even have a person by that name working there. All in all they need more training on how to be professional and how to do their jobs.

his office staff is horrible! they scheduled me an apt for an MRI but didn't tell me and when I asked about a follow-up I was told "it's my job to know" even though they didn't tell me. I asked the woman that answers the phone to please speak up and darned if she didn't get quieter! They are rude in person and on the phone. I will not be going back.

Spoke looking at my husband the whole time. He did not address my question or why I was there. Dr. Kumar had it in his mind why he thought I was there. He spoke over me and his assistant was rude when to me when she noticed I was getting frustrated with his speaking over me.

Cash customer because my insurance isn't accepted... which I knew going into the office; however, they can't seem to transmit a simple prescription to the pharmacy. Now I am without the new medication for the holiday. Very disappointed. Now two days they will not fill it at all. Doctor tells me he's prescribing a medicine during the visit, he tells his staff during my check-out, and after a couple calls and no return calls and a trip to the pharmacy, they said he declined it. ? Dr. Kumar recently diagnosed my mother with ALS. This was tough news to receive and we are all still trying to digest it. Although not the news we wanted to hear, we are glad to have an answer. I would however, not recommend using their services because of the other staff there. They are cold and heartless. They treated my father with no compassion and when I called to get assistance filing for FMLA, they were nothing but rude. If I could give the staff a less than 1 rating, I would.

Dr Kumar is the rudest, antagonistic, and incompetent Dr I have ever known. First visit, he told my husband that he had to many things wrong with him to talk about in 15 minutes and he'd been there already for 20 minutes. A real jerk.
