I saw his PA. I told her I was bleeding out of my rectum when I had a bowel movement. She told me I was ‘too young and healthy to have cancer she was almost positive it would just be bowel disease’ I was 45 at the time. I argued that I didn’t think she was correct but she was so positive. I begged them to squeeze me in sooner for a colonoscopy but their office worker who is pretty rude, said no. Earliest was 2 months. Dr Lopez didn’t review my case AT ALL until I sat there about to go under for my colonoscopy. He read my notes at that time and said ‘these were your symptoms??’ I said ‘yes I tried to get an earlier apt’ he said ‘well I’m happy you’re here now’ .. yeah. Thanks doc. He then woke me up after, told me I had a large tumor that he was pretty sure was cancer and I had ten mins to get ready and leave. I spent the next year battling stage 3 rectal cancer. Maybe 2 months earlier I would have had an earlier stage. Do not recommend one bit. Please go somewhere else.

Office lacks integrity
First visit was scheduled with PA and i was not asked or told. First visit with a specialist this should never happen. Procedure scheduled at a place he partly owns and gets money from even when much earlier appointment available at a different facility. Not given the option yo choose until they realized my insurance didn’t cover their facility. Overall negative experience and felt like all encounters were shady.

Horrible RUDE staff. They gave me a lecture for being a little late. It’s a Dr’s office; they should be more understanding.

I had an appointment for endoscopy and the appointment set for 12:15.They called me a day before in the morning to confirm my appointment at 10:15.I told them that the appointment was set for 12:15 because I had an appointment for my mother at 9:45. I told them I could not make it at 10:15 I could make it at 12:15 like it was initially set for. They said if you don't come in at 10:15 it would be considered as a cancellation and they would charge me $50 for canceling. so I told them how are you going to charge me $50 when you are the one who canceled my initial appointment for 12:15. They told me that is their policy. Someone from the facility where my procedure was going to be done said to come in at 11:15 because that's what she had scheduled so I explained to her everything that happened at the doctor's office. She told me to call the office manager. When I did the office manager was very rude and said I can't see or talk to the Dr. until I paid the cancellation fee. Unrecommended!

Did really not like going here since it was 25 years since I had colon checked. After colonoscopy I realized I was in trouble with my Primary MD and Lopez. I immediately changed my lifestyle and worked on issues myself. One year later I had a repeat colonoscopy that came out good, my MD was happy that I was not pre-dietbetic anymore;cholesterol reduced; 20 lbs lighter and in good health. Watch your fat, sugar and salt intake! If you like to bake and cook use low and reduced fat ingredients! Love Dr. Lopez!

Front desk receptionist with jewel in her tongue was totally discourteous and disrespectful. When we tried to explain that we are her customers and we deserve to be talked to and treated with respect instead of apologizing she became even more disrespectful and angry and even started shaking. She then told us we cannot see the doctor and another woman came in who also said we must leave without being seen. NEVER EVER in all my 70 years of going to doctors offices were we ever treated so bad.
