The worst doctor I've ever seen
Dr. Shah is, hand down, the worst doctor that I've ever had the misfortune of seeing. She was so cold and impersonal and showed zero compassion when I was in tears in my appointment. She felt a lump in my neck and the just said, "Well, you have a big neck" and didn't investigate further. I switched doctors and it turned out that I had thyroid cancer. Cancer that she didn't even look into because she was too obsessed with my weight. She commented on the fact that I had stretch marks, which was completely irrelevant to anything in my appointment. I've never felt so awful after an appointment. I actually sat in my car crying hysterically for about 30 minutes. She is not just a poor doctor, but she's an emotionally disconnected and indifferent person. I don't know why she went into medicine when she clearly doesn't care at all about her patients physical or emotional well-being. She is there to judge you and that's about it. Stay far away from her.

She did not help me discover what was wrong with me to cause my issues, didn't take family history into account, didn't listen to me at all, rather treated the symptoms then the cause & was very stingy with medication, making it so I had to come more often when it was clear I did not need to visit bi-monthly. I had diagnosed myself as one condition I thought could be environmental & she thought i was crazy. I was right, it was environmental & that condition went away. Listen to your patient.

One of the worst ever. Terrible bedside manner, cold, impersonal. Prescribed medications without explaining precautions for be taken. Damaged my kidneys by doing so. Wouldn’t recommend to an enemy.

Dr. Shah saved my life w/the recent routine ultrasound she suggested and performed as a new patient. My previous (UCLA) specialist and GP's, over the past 5+ years had not, nor did that specialist feel it was necessary to perform an ultrasound unless a nodule was detected by hand. I have Hashimoto's which is known to cause Thyroid Cancer; a cancerous nodule was discovered during this routine ultrasound, but thanks to Dr. Shah it was caught early and removal will not impact my life expectancy!

She did not listen to my concerns and acted as if I know nothing about my own health. She was judgemental and did not seem to believe a word I was saying regarding my symptoms and treatments that have helped or not helped my condition in the past. Last but not least, she failed to inform me when a lab test she ordered came back indicating a new cancer growth. This is beyond inexcusable. More than nine months passed before I happened to see the test result on their online system.
