Does not respect elderly patients
My Mom was so sick during the pandemic. She did nothing for her until I was finally able to attend a visit with my Mom. My Mom suffered with PMA for 9 months!!!! Extreme pain!!!! They even performed CP surgery on one of her wrist. Wouldn’t let my dog see this doctor.

I saw her recently and I'll never go back. This woman has never heard of the term patient centered care. She won't really listen to your problems, only the ones she thinks are important. She'll cut you off and use unsolicited advice based on her own opinion to tell you you are wrong or that she doesn't believe in something so she can't help.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Hyat?
I have always found Dr. Hyat to be empathetic, respectful and responsive to my concerns and questions. She is very knowledgeable and thorough, extremely bright. She monitors all of my conditions and treatment by my specialists. She actually takes the time to read my file before a visit. I have recommended her to several friends and family members and they have all had positive experiences with her.

Would not recommend this Doctor to anyone!!! She is rude, curt, and strongly opinionated. Guaranteed to leave her office more stressed out about your illness than when you came in! Her Physicians Assistants are great...see them whenever possible, instead of her! There are very few really good PCP's, she is definitely not even close to good!!

Dr. Hyat is rude, uncaring and does not get back to you with important test results. I would never recommend her. I highly discourage anyone from having her assist in his/her medical care.
