Avoid: Terrible Care
I was a patient of Dr. Phillips for a few years because he was close to my work and covered by my insurance. While he is a nice man, the care I got from him was poor.On a visit, I came in on a Friday complaining of a bad sore throat I feared could be strep. He tested and sent the results to a lab. After suffering through the whole weekend with it, I got a call from him on that Tuesday saying I did in fact have strep and he could call in a prescription for antibiotics, but by that time it was already getting better. With a turnaround time that slow, it seems almost pointless to even test at allAbout a year or 2 later I came in for an annual physical. To begin, we discussed how I was generally feeling and I mentioned a minor headache and a bit of a sore throat. At this point, he stopped the examination and said with those symptoms, I should have been tested for Covid before I even arrived and said I should get tested immediately and sent me home right away.
